Depends on the type of death, if the person bleeds to death, for example, they will die with their eyes closed, however, if they get shot in the head or suffer enough trauma to kill instantly, they'll probably die with their eyes open... It really depends, but people usually die with their eyes open.

GTA 5 is probably one of the best optimized games out there. A gigantic open world map, with 32 players, rendering in most of the map at once including all the collision objects, cars, npcs, little ground details and still pulling 90+ fps at a time with a 770 on medium. Runs better than most games these days.

Car damage is way worse than in GTA IV, when you hit a car with a truck in GTA IV, you crush it like aluminum foil, and you push it away, cars have weight, and in V it gets a small bend and scars... And you can stop a 120 km/h truck in 10 meters, but in GTA IV it cant be stopped that easy.. Physics... Ragdoll is better in IV, Realistics and logistics with cops and other things...

Some ideas to the GTA IV Attention to Detail 1-Niko idle animations depends on how high or low the health is. 2-When a gun fall on the floor, if you or a enemy dies, there's a chance of the gun shoots when hitting the ground. 3-When it's raining, niko shake his arms because of the water. 4-When it's raining, not all the pedestrians have umbrellas, some of them use jornals. 5-There are pedestrians with different nationalities, like brazilians or mexicans. 6-The pedestrians detects when a car is coming close, by putting their hands on the hood. 7-You can hear the sound of the gearbox when niko puts reverse. 8-Niko move his leg when you brake the car. 9-The sound of the car changes when the engine is damaged. 10-The cars that spit fire(Infernus,Banshee and Sultan RS),spit fire and some black smoke when the engine is damaged, just like the rusty cars. 11-When the car is underwater, the radio doesn't work properly. 12-Some cars have abs(Infernus), and some don't(Almost all cars). 13-Almost every car have diferential on(one wheel spinnning). 14-When in a helichopter, if close to the water, the wind will "spread" the water. 15-The trash truck just cruise at night. 16-You can pick bricks, cans and other things to trow. 17-If you enter in a cop car, you automatically win a shotgun with 5 bullets. The attention to detail is a sight to behold but it does fall short in places. For example, the Hijak Khamelion at 7:50 is listed as an electric car, but under the hood we see some form of straight 4... Having said that, if you stop mindlessly causing carnage, you really start to take note of the smaller details, and finding them is a joy. This is a product not seen before by any other developer, so hats off to them. I mean, which other game allows you to literally live an entirely different yet seemingly real life?

Another amazing detail is how slanted the road is on the streets. If you notice in real life when you are standing still on a red light, the street is slightly slanted when you are nearest to the sidewalk, to help with rain water drainage and vehicle turning. This is the same in GTA 5.

Didnt GTA IV do this as well? Like all of it? And water effect even better? GTA IV had many amazing small details which some of them got removed in GTA V.
