It had a good balance of being funny and annoying for Matt, while not being drawn out, being too over the top or having effects that ruin the episode. I really hope Matt goes back to normal Chaos after this season.

Sorry to the creator of this one but the other chaos mod is so much more refined. Used to be the chat had to think if they wanted to screw Matt over, now the first half of the episode is respawning at a hospital with a hundred griefer Jesusii and every 5 minutes every chat member can type in whatever op effect they choose and 99 times out of 100 crash the game.

Chaos Mod is way more entertaining when it randomly changes gravity or applies some visual effect or inverts steering. Him just dying/being killed 392,593 times over and over isn't as funny as the Twitch chat seem to think it is.

To repeat what Saintphoenixx said in other words: in the original chaos mod you hope for a good effect that might kill matto, and when it does it is funny. In ZChaos, you simply know that nearly every effect will kill him with absolutely no chance of escaping/avoiding/surviving the effect. Chat typing effects is pure stupidity...100 effects applied simultaneously will crash the game every time...where is the fun in that?

honestly, I feel like ZChaos could be as good as the other chaos mod very easily with just some tweaks. At around 35 minutes, during the Laslow chase, it worked pretty well without just ruining the entire game constantly. If you just took out the chat option that can spawn 500 effects or if it got a rework to cap out at like 4 or 5 and if some of the jesus effects weren't so destructive, it should be pretty playable.

Old mod was balanced, with this mod cleaning up the bureau will be impossible, same as The Pack Man, Monkey Business, Did somebody say yoga. Let me explain HL movement for you. Bhopping is simply there to keep your speed and keep you in the air. It doesn't give you speed. The way you get speed is through strafing in a very particular way. While turning to the right, both look to the right and hold D at the same time. While turning to the left, both look to the left and hold A at the same time. This kind of strafing generates speed. Also, try to keep your turning speed constant, or at least not too fast. Your change in turning speed can be whatever, but the turning speed itself can't be too high, or you lose speed

With all the bad things this mod might allegedly have, ZChaos is still inherently better simply due to the fact that buttsbot exists. If the last chaos mod has buttsbot as well, then maybe I'll reassess my opinion but for now ZChaos is just simply better because of it. Also it's funny how people in the comment section complains about a chaos mod making the game chaotic like that's the whole point of the mod. I don't see how the previous mod is any better because chat voted Jesus and teleport to random location most of the time anyway. The only thing ZChaos could have that the previous one has is disabling effects that cause you to fail 3 times in a short period of time.

About half life movement - i suppose you need to jump forward, then in the midair turn back and crouch, and continue jumping while crouched (also called reverse accelerated bunnyhopping). It works in Portal, so since it's on the same engine, the bug persists
