Hello everyone, I get a lot of questions regarding this so, if you would like to learn more about this and how to protect yourself further search, "pull someone's IP address" These scumbags use programs on their PC's to disconnect you. It's unfortunately very easy to do.. Now most people would just use it because they are cowardly, however it can be used for more sinister purposes.. VPN is a good solution. Hi, well there are a few things you can do.. The easiest, is to get a VPN (Virtual Private Network) This will help greatly keeping the hoards of Filth at bay. There are free versions however you will be spammed with ad's and emails. I cannot point you to a particular product as there are so many, Google will help you find what you need. Hope this helps,

And I wanna ask u this I am not using a router I an using mobile hotspot to play gta online.My internet is down only for gta online everything else is working fine but when I connect to different network I am able to log into gta online my gta online has been down for 16 hours how long will this ddos thing last? @@SuperClasherTV this is a new one to me.. Perhaps you have been banned by Rockstar? Try this, message a friend that is close to you or that you normally game with, ask them to invite you directly to a friend's only session. I honestly have no idea what would be stopping you from accessing online. You have reset your Router since it happened? Most attacks are very short, they simply pull your IP address and disconnect your service, (it is done by a program on their PC) All you need to do after this happens is a complete reset of your Router. Once you do figure this, please share your tale, as I have not heard of this circumstance before

@@dannenphilip dude i am not using router to play gta online i am using mobile data as wifi to play gta online in my laptop.I aslo thought that i was banned by rockstar or something.I got two mobiles, when i use my ddosed mobile to log in it gives me that error but when i use the other mobile's hotspot i am able to log in successfully.I also checked whether my internet bandwidth is low but everything is fine, other stuff such as youtube,netflix and chrome are working fine but only gta online is messed up.I am trying to find solution as soon as i find i will surely share my experience.Do u know how long will this effect last if we dont do anything?

@@tgtwonp8225 peer to peer connect method. The guy above right. Gta online doesnt have centralized servers so technically players connect to each other directly. P2P. Just like in torrent downloading/uploading. Rockstar servers are used only to save the progress of your online character

Something similar happens to me on my Xbox One. I try to mess with someone and either I get disconnected from Online and sent to story mode or I am suddenly in a session on my own.

Sounds more like a network issue? If you test your network and it is running around 10mbs you will have issues. The number of people in the session also greatly effects crashing too

Vicariously Gaming this happens to me too and my internet speed is about 50-80mbps and 18 ping.... whenever i body someone they tend to lag switch or kick me or disconnect me from servers 🤦‍♂️ sweaty tryhards. Lobby is small like 5 ppl playing

Was most likely a DOS attack (denial of service attack) not DDOS attack as a DDOS requires more than one computer but a DOS attack does not.

A DoS attack wouldn't even be noticed by servers as large as what they use. It literally takes about 15 minutes to create a BotArmy/Botnet and these idiots would have more computers than they needed. Sad how easy this is.

I have to agree with you there, in saying that, I have met some lifelong friends on this game also but that was years ago when the game was played as a sandbox as designed before all the overpowered death machines.. I NEVER got ddosed by people on console, PC or in mobile. One time in Roblox there was an exploiter and minutes after I got killed a few times, I got disconnected and raged, it was a normal internet connection. It might've been an internet problem or a ddos attack.

Iv just had a pair of hackers on ps4, sticky bombs on mk2 style noobs an I still smoked them. 2 mins later they was both in pause menu. Booted, came back online went bk into there session (badsports so I was bound to go back in.lol). So got them again in ghost just to humiliate them 1 last time. Got a message from 1 saying where I was from, the other messaged saying bye bye ddos. Then boom booted, don't know if i should be paranoid of what they can do or whatever but I found it funny regardless 😂
