*FAQ:* _The cheat device UI won't show when I press the buttons, what am I doing wrong?_ Check which version of the game you're running. *Only the US version* (ULUS-10160) is supported by the plugin. Download the correct ISO if necessary. Check whether your "GAME.txt" is set up properly as shown in the video. If you don't have the file, simply create it. The same goes for the "seplugins" folder. The plugin has to show up in the recovery menu. If you're using a PSP Go, you have to replace the "ms0:/" in the GAME.txt with "ef0:/". _Can you use this plugin in PPSSPP?_ No. Neither PPSSPP nor any other emulators support plugins. You can use cheat databases instead but the functionality is nowhere near as good as the cheat device's. The cheats are already included in this video's download (they belong directly in the "cheats" folder, no subfolder). Since LCS cheat device is older and the developer (Edison Carter) didn't release the source code, some problems can occur when running it on a psp with FW 6.61. You *have to set your system language to English* and possibly install an old CFW like 5.03 GEN-B to make vehicle cheats work. Sure, you can transfer it via FTP and Vitashell. The game.txt can either be edited directly on your Vita or with your ftp client.

the all weapon cheat doesn't work in lcs cheat device .(on cfw- 6.61 pro-c infinity) it crashes when I use that cheat. i guess there is no way to make that cheat work ??

I vaguely remember it working for me. You can try some options in your recovery menu or downgrade.

@Asparagus I have lcs cheat device prx working on PSP 6.61 PRO-C and I'm aware that some features like hover cars, rocket boost, Dodo plane etc... No longer works in this firmware but I think I have a different problem here, when I use the hover cars it works so I assumed that maybe rocket boost works too but when I set it to 1 or more the cheat device stops working and won't show up again when I close it, I want to know if that's because of the firmware or my cheat device is corrupted? Hoping for your quick answer

Hello, I ran into a weird sort of glitch, I really don't know what it is, but, anyway, I saved a car with the *"DISCO VEHICLE"* cheat on, quit the game and then when I later returned wanting to play, the car wasn't in the garage, not only that but some cheats stopped working completely, the ones I noticed was *car is indestructible* *heavy car* and *never fall off your bike* and to add more bad news, when I activate *hover cars* the game immediately crashes, I did all sorts of things to make it work again, especially formatting my memory stick but nothing seems to work, I wonder if you've ever experienced or have heard of this, I could really use your help.

@@Fuchsfein why even waste anything you could have used your old 5v phone charger just cut the old dc jack charger cable and solder into an old mobile charger wire what's it done just check the amperage of the charger any thing high is ok anything low is slow charging

1. Where does it say that LCS cheat device is included in the download? You will have to get it somewhere else. Only the Cheats for LCS are included. 2. Yes, see description.

Ne, upgrade einfach auf 6.61. Aber solange du CFW installiert hast geht es auch mit der 6.37

Welche von denn soll ich jetzt drücken anscheinend ist das CFW was du meinst letzte Frage ?

Danke für die Anleitung erstmal. Was mich interessieren würde ist ob es irgendein Weg gibt das CheatDevice auf dem PPSSPP Emulator zu benutzen, habe zwar noch 'ne PSP aber will die nicht unbedingt ausgraben außerdem, modden etc. außerdem kann man das Spiel in viel höheren Auflösungen spielen auf dem Emulator.

Gerne! PPSSPP unterstützt wohl keine Plugins (forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=24230) aber da du dann am PC bist, gibt es ganz andere Möglichkeiten. Im Emulator kannst du eine Cheatdatenbank importieren (www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/88274u/updated_cheatpopsdb_and_cheatdb_as_of_2018/), welche normalerweise für das CWCheat-Plugin genutzt wird. Mit der Datenbank können nur einzelne Adressen geändert werden, weshalb dann aufwendige mods wie Gebäudespawner nicht möglich sind. Ich kann dir auch nur empfehlen, mal Cheatengine anzuschauen, damit kann man dann selber Cheats erstellen.

@@_Asparagus__ Danke für die fundierte Antwort! Dass, der PPSSPP Emulator keine Plugins unterstützt wusste ich schon und das ist ja auch das Problem. Wie du schreibst gibt es andere Möglichkeiten zu Cheaten/Modden aber darauf habe ich keine Lust. Ich möchte einfach schön simpel das Cheat Device benutzten. Entweder müssten die Leute vom PPSSPP Team sich darum kümmern, dass Plugins unterstützt werden oder gäbe es nicht doch vielleicht irgendeine Lösung das Cheat Device trotzdem am Emulator zu benutzen? Ich kenn mich bei den Sachen nur oberflächlich aus und habe keine Ahnung wie man sowas zum Laufen kriegen könnte. Ich hoffe, dass sich vielleicht mal jemand die Mühe macht :( Leider sind Liberty City Stories und Vice City Stories nicht sonderlich berühmt/bekannt/beliebt. Deswegen haben da wohl nicht viele Interesse. Wenn es um San Andreas ginge hingegen...

@@nsrmario1127 Das mit der Cheatdatenbank sind nur drei Klicks. Du lädst sie herunter, verschiebst sie in den PPSSPP Cheatordner, sagst in PPSSPP -> enable cheats und dann aktivierst du die Cheats im Pausenmenü.

Asparagus Nein hat eigentlich keinen Grund. Habe nur die UK Version einfacher bekommen können. (EBay) Ich denke dass es da keine keine großen Unterschiede zwischen den Versionen gibt.. sind ja beide nicht gepatcht/ zensiert. Also dein Tutorial klappt auch mit der UK Version und das Spiel crasht auch nicht mehr seitdem ich die Sprache auf englisch habe 👍
