Mario Petrov Don't cry about finishing the game. Cry in celebration that you were able to experience such a game with incredible characters, and an incredible story line. GTA 4 and 5 didn't really cut it with a solid story line. Understand that kids today have never heard of "Vice City" or even San Andrease. Be proud that you know what the Vercetti estate, and grove street is. Be proud that YOU were able to go on a mini gun rampage in the Malibu club. Never let the memories go.

Mario Petrov You have never played GTA 5? I mean the gameplay is great, but the story line is pretty shitty. I bought it on 360, and bought it again on PS4 simply for online. I haven't bothered to touch story mode. Ive played GTA VC 100% with and without cheats multiple times, and the same goes for GTA SA. But GTA 5's story is so boring, I don't know anyone who has bothered to play it twice. (GTA 5 online is honestly better)

I had played this when it came out and i was only 6 years old,now i'm 18 and looking back this brings back too much memories,playing on a crt monitor with 256 mb of ram,having a few kids from the block over and us trying to figure out how to finish the game. To have lived through the 1980s, and then to have played this game to 100% conclusion pretty much every month since 2002......... Just gives me a feeling of nostalgia that nothing else could possibly match ❤️ R.I.P Ray

I remember when my mama beat this and we just sat there listening to this. She was wringing her hands because she'd finally 100% Vice City in under a month. So glad I had a cool Gen-X mom. 😂

Back when gaming wasn't huge corporation profit graphs drive first and foremost. Also engines weren't very advanced and there was no need to spend 2y on hand fingers animations in cut-scenes etc. You could have just focused on being creative. They did it FAST and I still remember an interview with Rockstar back in 2002 in a local PS2 magazine. Went something like from my memory: "Yea, we're so passionate about this game, I took my old pink synthetic socks mom got me for bday back then and they glow in the dark. That's what we want this game to feel like. It was the craziest, over the top decade ever where modern civilization shifted into credit-card spending driven madness. Rubik cube and skateboarding were a thing, people went to this huge malls and average Joe was able to afford some luxury. At the same time people were the most real ever, music had a soul, it had layers and feelings were deep, people just hanged out with each other, traveled half the country to see that favorite band" Today we are just a social network generation with terrible role models and almost no originality. Remaking classic 80s movies as this day robots have no ideas (exception here and there, but very rare), all the "emotional" music sounds the same and 80's pop compared to this days pop feels like underground alternative. Also, people suck at communication, there's less effort when you like someone, we give up easy and divorce, but hey, when there's a problem 1000s "thoughts and prayers" statuses from the same individuals that'll look the other way if you're in trouble.
