Vice city stories actually ported on PS2 with improved graphics and some extra features. If you meant HD remake , I guess Phil Collins is the main reason.Either He wanted too much money or Rockstar was too cheap.

Vice city stories is much better except the story the gameplay is awesome you can take over enemy buildings just like you could take over territories in gta sa, you can swim,the fighting is the best,you can run with a rifle or a shotgun,the helicopters are way easier to find and much much more.

GTA Liberty City Stories was between the mixture of GTA 3 and Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories was between the mixture of GTA Vice City and San Andreas and if Rockstar makes GTA San Andreas Stories it would be between the mixture of GTA San Andreas and GTA 4.

While vice city had more popular and bigger missions and was more memorable, I think vice city stories brought some cool new mechanics to the table and despite vice city having better graphical quality and not being as blurry, i think vcs used nicer textures that were more vibrant, especially in the mainland part of town. I think VCS captured the miami vibe much better, especially with the pedestrians too

Personally I gotta say that I enjoy GTA Vice City Stories better than the Original GTA Vice City, for one thing I got to see more of my favorite GTA Character the late great Lance Vance and also I really liked seeing Vic Vance's origin story and getting to learn more about the history of Vice City and seeing it's lore expounded upon, such as finding out that the boarded up derelict house at the center of Prawn Island in the Original GTA Vice City originally belonged to the Mendez Brothers, it just adds alot more weight when you know what happened there

I had played VCS on PSP for 5 years since primary school in China. I think I am more familiar with streets in VCS than those real ones around my house. Childhood memories for real. Back to the story, I think Vic is tragic figure who lost her beloved woman (I remember her name is Louise) and had a troublemaker brother. He didn’t want to be gang boss, but actually you don’t any choice in Vice City.

Ps2 version had the almost “impossible” mission. Get blown up before you even took a right turn passed the firehouse. Im not into emulation, rather purchase it and play it how i remember playing it as a kid.

@@TheFloodFourm well San Andreas has the most missions for a gta game which is why it's so different. I feel like the vice city missions were less action packed but it gradually went up as you progressed in the game. In San Andreas, it's similar to GTA V where most missions are action packed but there are some missions where it's different and weird. All the SA missions were pretty much related to the story line and the way you unlocked new parts of the map was awesome

I play all 3D GTA and for some reason, after playing the original VC I cannot find the other VC so attractive. Probably because VCS has more weather conditions and it's not the same type of colours everytime. VCS has the weather colour of San Andreas which makes me feel that the original VC was better in terms of Weather

VCS disappoint me. It was made after GTA SA, but it doesn't re-use that much cool mechanics of SA like parkour. The graphics are worse than VC from my POV, and only added vehicles are fun, like BMX and quadbike.

I played both vice City and Vice City Stories, but according to me, Vice City looks dull as compared to vice City Stories game, i personally feels that, according to Graphics also Vice City Stories is more colourful and enjoyable to Play

The graphics of VCS is bad in psp. But if it release on android, the graphics will be much better. Because GTA LCS graphics looks weird in psp. But in mobile devices it looks better. So gta vcs might be better in mobile platform.

VCS and LCS were PlayStation exclusives. Also, if they reaswd it on other platforms, the only difference would be the texture quality. Personally, I prefer low quality textures in an old game rather than 4K textures that ruin the atmosphere.

@@augakem I prefer mobile platform because the texture quality is much better than the others. And mobile LCS has good graphics, the remastered version should improve textures. That's why mafia 1 definitive edition is better than mafia 3😆. Many of the games which ported to android. They will improve lot. Like other gta's and like grid autosport etc. So if VCS release in android, the game will have better graphics than other platform.

@@luqman_m_ I hated Mobile GTA ports except GTA III. They all ruined the atmosphere and really turned me off from playing the games. Also, there are many technical bugs with them.

@@augakem yeah, I love all of mobile ports except San Andreas. The remastered version in mobile and x box have same technical gliches and bugs. But it has advantage too. Like car reflection improved, moving shadow improved, hd textures etc... That's why I goes for Android. But Vice City is a good port , which have shadows and bright atmosphere.

How are Vice City's Graphics better in any way? Maybe drawdistance but thats only because of the diifferent platforms(VCS show here is from PSP, PS2 version is improved in terms of draw distance to same level as other 3D era games) Soundtrack is equally good, detail on characters visual wise is infinetly better in VCS especially in cutscenes, even better than San Andreas as everyone has proper hands with separate fingers and are in general better modelled and textured.
