tip for anyone that wants to do this. if a teammate dies ALL players MUST IMMEDIATELY close gta 5. when you load back in, you will still have the challenge and can continue. Hope this helped a brotha out! :]

I did this a few years ago with my friends, some of the best moments I've had in this game. We did die on the final heist though, 3 of us turned off our system. The fourth guy didn't and just closed his application, the poor guy never got the extra 10 million.

I ask myself this question everyday. A heavily-armored 4-door sports car for a small 2-man bank job VS. four crappy, slower, extremely vulnerable motorcycles during a large bank robbery with 5 stars and every cop in the state up your ass? Makes zero fucking sense.

Updated tips (2022): NOTE: You CANNOT fail the Heist Finale in any way, or else you will have to start over. You can fail the Setups, but the bottom line is: NO DEATHS ALLOWED IN SETUPS OR FINALE. If a teammate dies, everyone must immediately close the application as fast as possible and try the Heist Setup or Finale again. If you fail the Finale, do the same thing and try again. You will need: -Combat MG/Combat MG Mk.2 fully upgraded -Your preferred AR/Mk. 2 AR fully upgraded -Sniper Rifle (with a suppressor) -AP Pistol w/ Extended Mag (for drive-by shooting) -Heavy Utility Vest/Bulletproof Helmet -As many Super Heavy Armors as you can carry -As much ammo as you can carry -As many Snacks as you can carry -Maxed out Armored Kuruma (all performance upgrades, bulletproof tires. Trust me, you'll be using this a lot.) (For the love of all that is good in the world, do not use the Duke o' Death. It does not have any windows so enemies can shoot right at you no problem.) -If you do not have enough money for a Heavy Utility outfit, do The Los Santos Connection twice ON HARD. You should have 40,000 if you did it twice on Hard, and during the mission, shoot the green crates and pick up the drug bags. They are worth $500 each and if you picked up all of them, it's an extra $8,000 every run. By completing the mission twice on Hard and picking up the drug bags, that would give you $56,000. Enough for the outfit, helmet, snacks, armor, and maybe ammo. -Even if one of your members did Criminal Mastermind already, that member can still help you. The only thing is that he won't get the rewards, but you and the others will (assuming they haven't completed it either). -Avoid using Incendiary or Explosive rounds during Humane Labs - Deliver EMP. The scientists and guards will scream if they are set on fire, and the explosion is self-explanatory. Both will result in failing the mission. While it doesn't affect your progress, it just gets real annoying. Suppressed weapons are mandatory (Combat PDW or your favorite AR with a suppressor are great options). -Do not shoot the guns on the Lazer or the Hydra before you fully take off in Humane Labs - EMP to avoid someone blowing up the rockets on a stand and killing your teammate. Also, let the Hydra take off FIRST, and then whoever was closest to the Hydra, and so on. You guys have no idea how many times the EMP Setup was failed as a result of people wanting to take off at the same time. Yet another preventable death that is worth the extra seconds to not die. -Always resupply Snacks and Armor if you used any. -In the heist finale for Pacific Standard, DO NOT SHOOT THE CIVILIANS -In the Prison Break Heist Finale, have the Prison Guard give the Prisoner an AR with some ammo. I recommend the Advanced Rifle with attachments. This is so the Prisoner can help take out targets as well and you can move through the Finale faster. -In the Prison Break Heist Finale, one of the most common ways to fail the Finale is the Pilot getting taken down by the jets. The strategy is to have your best Pilot on the Pilot role (duh) and try and position yourself behind the jets at all times so they can't shoot at you. Have Demolition do his best at taking out the jets with the Buzzard. Easier said than done but it is possible. -Explosives can do more harm than good if not used carefully. When in doubt, don't use explosives. Especially using the RPG behind cover. That was one of the most annoying things to deal with.

any mission will give out the same pay. the pay is adjusted only by ur playtime and the difficulty. if u don't believe me, try turning on something easy like blow up 1 and getting it done after spending some time afk. hope thus helped XD

The difference a Heavy Utility vest makes is insane. And to add a bulletproof helmet makes it even better. Thanks for the tip, even though the vest only works in heists. It's such a big difference.

I've done this. Couple of tips: Heist team consists of 5, yes 5 members. 4 people and a Kuruma. ALWAYS use it, you never know. Have a failsafe. If someones about to die, leave the session Always stock up on Armour Always use the Heavy utility vests for everything Always discuss Battle strategies before each heist setup and finale. Watch endless youtube videos by people who've done it. You learn so much from them. DO NOT: Never "Leeroy jenkins" and attempt to solo a mission DON'T USE EXPLOSIVE. This one can destroy a run in seconds. It's not worth it. We agreed not to use explosives for our run. As for the team, Build alliances in freeroam and go from there. I met a guy back in the day who needed help unlocking vehicle part mods. We helped each other out, added each other and 6 months later I took him up on the mastermind offer. 12 million later I've got him as one of my best heist members. Good luck, this is doable. We marathon-ed it in 8 hours.

The Kuruma escape was boss. Just finished this heist for about the 10th time but that escape was so much easier! Worth noting that it doesn't always work though, as sometimes it just says you can't enter the apartment in view of the cops.

I'm really late to the party with this but if you're going to do the challenge, first go to any clothing store, walk up to the counter and talk to the employee. Scroll down to the 17th choice...heist heavy combat...and choose any of the 4 options. Give it a name and save the outfit. Use that outfit on all the setups and heists. The host MUST choose "Player Saved Outfits" for you to wear that armor. It will GREATLY increase your lifespan although it will slow you down when running. You will almost have to try to die while wearing the armor.

The Kuruma Part in The Pacific Standard Finale has been patched, what you could do is, when you leave the bikes hideout, go to the left where there is a Police Cruiser and a ramp, pick the Cruiser, all players(except the driver) will be with their heads down, with the armor menu on.

Falchion Just let them sound the alarm and use Noose to your advantage, one of the running guys steals the armored truck blocking on the road near the apartment and picks the rest of the team at the bank. No bulletproof tires though and not so fast for a getaway vehicle, so keep that in mind, but still the best way now. There is a chopper in another point (not the one you usually use in Signal) but it's not worth the effort, so just go with Truck with Noose or Cruiser without it.

Theres also a Nice tip for prision break final, u let a armored kuruma in front of the prision, when prisioner and guard get there by bus, kill all the guards nearby, the prisioner climb the stairs, the guard get the kuruma, the guard enter the prision with the kuruma and kills all guards of the yard and get rashkovsky, after the cutscene the prisioner enter the kuruma and they kill all noose guards and escape prision
