It's decent gameplay-wise, but definitely the weakest in terms of story (not to mention the soundtrack is mostly mediocre and forgettable). Toni is the only GTA protag besides Claude from III that goes through no great struggle or arch. His only goal in life is to serve Sal, and that's all he really does. This game would have been a lot better if it had followed Toni right after Sal's murder, struggling to maintain the family's power in his absence, maybe while competing with Joey or something. Or if it followed a Sindacco soldier struggling to stay alive in the last days of that family's existence, with Toni having a cameo maybe.

I'd say they probably didn't care enough since it was just a portable title, but so was Vice City Stories and that plot was great.

0:24 The music lining up with the appearing logo will always send goosebumps. Literally the best GTA soundtrack ever. Brings back so many nostalgic memories. Me and my three brothers, we grew up pretty tough and sometimes times were hard. We all collected money in our piggybanks and bought a PS2. This games was first on our list to play. We'd take turns playing from morning until night, and during twilight it was the best time to enjoy the aesthetics of the game as our tv was in front of a window, and orange sunlight would penetrate into the room we were all sitting in. Damn, that was 15 years ago

I still play this game too on PlayStation 3. I'm still in the beginning of the game and I already passed Maria's missions and all I'm doing is driving around listening to Radio Del Mundo listening to Indian, Arabic, Pakistani and East Asian music and also Flashback FM listening to Reni Wassulmaier as the DJ. All I've been doing right now is being a car salesman in GTA: LCS test driving cars in order to sell them to customers on level 4. I'm gonna continue the story today.

It's very nice how those android/iOS versions og old games are much more powerfull than the original ones! It makes me happy seeing how we're walking forward. We were very satisfied to play those games with 480p resolution (sometimes smaller) on a very very old TV... and now they're the same games but optmized with those beautiful sharp fonts. Well, it's just a thought inside my mind but I needed to write it down lol

This game has one of the best story lines. Toni Cipriani, working for Salvatore Leone, forced to work for Vincenzo. Then he has to meet his ma and she was angry because he wasn't tough as his dad. To impress her, he has messed with triads and become a made man later. Also he dated Maria, and she dumped him. He killed that Vincenzo. Also, In Staunton island, he also killed some major characters. He worked for Donald Love. He finished the Forellis, Sindacco, and also Sicilians. He has killed major antoagist like Paulie Sindacoo, Massimo Torini, Yasuka leader Kasem(don't know full name). Bombed a huge sector in Staunton. Man, this story line even beats Gta Saband any other game. This game storyline is best.

Clearly an underrated game, but I can see why. Toni is the only GTA protagonist not to go through some big struggle or arch. His only goal in life is to serve Salvatore, and that’s pretty much all he does. Still, it’s one of my favorite games and it gives a lot of insight into Toni as a character, since he had a small role in GTA 3.

First time playing this game and it's good as hell. I'm about half way through and the story line is amazing. Has a lot more personality than gta 3. Never understood why ppl usually rank this last alongside the other 3d gta games. I'm enjoying this better than vice city stories mission wise as that game's story line felt rushed, repetitive and some missions made no sense. I'm also loving the mobster aesthetic on this game.

GTA LCS is one of the most underrated GTA game after GTA 4. I was nearly 7 years old when I played my first ever GTA game and that was LCS, I really enjoyed this game and also really liked it hope so other people will soon understand the importance of this game and prefer this game too just like they prefer GTA VC, GTA San Andreas and GTA 5
