From Porsche: "The first Porsche Exclusive small series left the factory in 1992. The “911 Turbo S Lightweight”, which was based on the Type 964 of the time, already anticipated many exclusive innovations that were later to be included in the series. This was the first time that 18-inch wheels, red-painted brake callipers and the distinctive exterior colour “Speed Yellow” were used on a Porsche vehicle. A total of 86 models were produced for a unit price of 295,000 marks. In 1993 there followed a 911 Turbo 3.6 slant nose, of which only 76 vehicles were built. A large number of these vehicles were additionally fitted with a power kit."

Only arohnd 80 made. 180 kg lighter than 964 Turbo. Despite all leather. Did you see the interiour?

Looks like someone made a bad decision adding weight (and ugly) by chrome platting those gorgeous 3 piece Cup wheels. Why?? If they not chromed I stand corrected - highly polished perhaps?

Someone needs to love Porsche very, very deeply, to pay so much. Thats like 2x Singer, 2x RUF or 3x Guntherwerks. (Guntherwerks would be my choice) But stil excellent car!

They are hard to come by where I am from. Turbo s is only a 2 seater so it’s not practical if I have to carry three people

@@scottymc4435 If you've ever had to ride in the back of a 911 as an adult, it's not a place that you want to be. Those seats are only suitable for two small children or two cats. The S being a two seater suits me just fine.
