Just for the record. I would never judge a game by how it looked/played in the past (unless it was very recent) because they sometimes change A LOT, depending on what the developer does with it. Even seemingly small gamrplay tweaks can ruin an experience at times.

The bot only shot because Skilly alerted them, IIRC. It seems like they can tell (or at least have an idea) of whether they're able to kill it before it makes noise or not. If it's too far away, they just shoot.

Can't tell you how many times Ive got to kill a sleeping giant or accidentally woke something up across a room during stealth and they just shoot it without the rest waking up.

Love this game sm!! I figured I'd drop some info on different enemies + how to fight em if you ever make a part 2 of this 👀 The giant guys can be killed by 4 ppl hitting it with the hammer, OR shooting it in the head by a sniper. The walking guys with the tentacles that feel around the room for you can only be killed quietly if you hit it with the hammer while it's tentacles are in it's head! If ya melee it with the tentacles out they'll alert a wave. There are also spiky headed dudes (different from the sleeping tentacle dudes) that only die by melee if you hit them in the back rather than the head. Forgive the rambling just love this game

Yeah they decided to change it up now that they are done making the game and aren't planning more future content, so now you can play all of the rundowns. It is actually really nice because if I get stuck on a level I can go play a different one easily.

Hey IGP, if you’re gonna continue playing with two bots I would recommend the betterbots mod. It makes it so that bots can no longer get stuck anywhere, shoot teammates, and get much better aim so it actually feels like you are playing with somewhat competent players. The mod’s pretty much the only reason I was able to do levels like r2d1 solo. Also is this gonna be a one off thing or are you planning on making more videos about this game?

@Oh trust me it’s not cheating lmao, bots regularly get stuck behind doors and it sometimes makes it impossible to beat the level, and them shooting you with the default aim is almost guaranteed per level. As someone who played with bots up until I got the mod, it genuinely felt like RNG whether or not a bot screwed up the level for me sometimes. It makes it so that the game provides you with the extra firepower needed while still making it largely skill based on your end. If you don’t screw up, the bots wont. Oh but if you are getting the mod, there’s a bug where sometimes the bot is unable to place their tool down. If this happens just make them go up or down a ladder and it will fix it.

@@tbd8941 thing is that u need to know the bots like better loadouts to also make the most of them, and in 3 bot runs they barely even nick you with the right guns- machineguns just work too well for them- theres also ways to prevent them going behind doors n stuff also betterbots- i think it does have the aimbot deactivated by default, but when its on? u can just do nothing for an entire level and win, theres a vid of an r2e1 run with 3 bots around where the player like barely does nothing

⁠@@slendimanothe bots regularly walk through doors while you’re trying to set up with no counterplay, the team benefits greatly from having multiple types of weapons which you’re saying you shouldn’t do specifically because the bots are so prone to shooting you, and the aimbot is optional but even without it the accuracy is increased somewhat, which I’m thankful for because in vanilla I’ve seen them spray and miss too many times to count. Not to mention they regularly prioritize picking you up while downed over killing anything meaning if you go down there’s really no way the bots will pick you up without dying themselves even if there’s one enemy left punching them in the face over and over. Think about it this way: the bots in the vanilla game are so incompetent that a mod had to be made to make them actually somewhat usable and consistent
