@@rak3151 my (Dennis) thoughts exactly. Honestly, the dad was more embarrassed than the son. And to your point, I hope his son sometime down the road of his life appreciates what his dad did for him. We need more of that. But thank you for the haircut compliment!

Man, I hate that you had those kids got on your boat. I'm sure it was a bit more stressful than it appeared on video. Glad you guys are okay. I just sailed out of Annapolis ( well, close by) down to Wrightsville, NC. Nothing like 5 days of motoring in a 50' sailboat. 🥴 Another great video guys! Welcome home. 🙌⛵️🌊

This happened to some friends of ours on the hard in Virginia. When we were hauled out in Florida, we were told someone was coming over and stealing stuff. Many people are not allowed to sleep on their boats when on the hard. I think I would want to be on my boat. Why are the marinas not being more careful? Maybe I need to ask how many thefts have happened before we haul out with a particular marina. This is not good publicity for the marinas.

@@HeidiandFranny excellent points. The marina does have security cameras, but that only helps in the aftermath. This marina is one of the least secure we’ve seen due to the lack of fencing.

Great idea about the insulation on the cock pit fridge. What did you attach it with? Sealant or M3 tape? We're going into the tropics so we'll need all the insulation we can get. Going through the handover process at the moment all very exciting we take the vote on the 20th xx

Congrats on finally getting to the finish line! I just used duct/ 100mph tape. I had used it on our old boat and it held up quite well, and it's simple.

This kid will make a great politician someday....My friends went on the boat...My friends not thinking straight and being stupid..Was he NOT on the boat, or was he waiting on the hard with the getaway skateboards? A lot of verbal - them - but not much- I -was an IDIOT. It's not really Wins and Losses...It's Wins and Lessons...I do hope it was a lesson ( you can say NO and walk away) and wonderful that no one was hurt and no damage.
