When they brought up how Phen-228 (the boiled one) can only be seen through a lens/camera, that syncs up with T.O.E. a lot too. He was only visible in the TV, and when he broke out, he never seemed to have visible parts outside of the TV screen, and when we were watching back the video when TOE was creeping through the door and the volume was being changed, that implies that TOE was only visible in the recording, and maybe the guy who got attacked by TOE didn’t even see him, that’s also probably why it made no noise and it says “The Body Appeared Untouched”

Random observation: T.O.E. presumably stands for something. At the beginning of the boiled one video, there is a mention of the "Tree of Heaven", which immediately made me think T.O.E. could be "Tree of Earth", which can refer to the mythical "World Tree". Another possibility is "Tree of Eden", which would lead to a connection with the forbidden fruit or forbidden knowledge. Another thing of note is that "Tree of Heaven" is the name of an actual plant, and that plant is classified as an invasive species. But hey, that's just a theory.

A few points for anyone curious: 1. the book of Job is centered around the moral that even if you're a good, God-devoted person, you can still have the worst luck in life thrown at you on the turn of a dime. But enduring through those hardships and suffering of life will ultimately be rewarded tenfold, so long as you don't give into despair. 2. The general boiled one vibe--especially the design at 1:05:49--reminds me of the shrike/shrike tree from Hyperion, a sci fi novel with HEAVY Christian themes (especially in the sequel). I see an analog between the "locked in syndrome" here and said shrike tree, where people are in eternal agony and can't move. If the Shrike is an inspiration for this monster, that would definitely be evidence towards a more biblical explanation of what's going on.

Just to remind people the Cross of Saint Peter, also Known as the Petrine Cross, is what a Upside-down cross is called and it is a legit, and not a unholy, Christian Symbol that Is associated with the Martyrdom of Saint Peter. at 1:10:00 right before he says "but lord Christ is with me" there's flash of quick red mores code that translates to "NOBODY BUT ME AND YOU" which i think is VERY clearly the boiled one telling Job that Christ isn't there and that it is only him and Job.

If its intended to be a demonic entity then he could be enraged that he still finds a space for Christ, so he tries to hide it. With alk the religious imagery I think it may lead to the Jesus being the one and only answer to the problem. Trumpets blowing and the sky opening are references to the end times, and in the end times Jesus returns. So what if it leads to the end times coming and Jesus being the last and final one to tale care of the boiled one. God bless *†*

I've been thinking about MatPat eventually leaving GTLive and I think the best option could be Ash taking over and having the channel hosts invited for different videos. Like Lee for The Mandela Catalogue, Tom for BATIM, and Santi and Amy for random vids lol.

The only issue I see with that is Tom is still in the UK I think, so they'd have to keep flying him in and he wouldn't be able to do as many recordings as the other creative directors, at least on the same set.

I noticed in the boiled one phenomenon that for a second in the beginning it said to write “I can’t see this paper. I have no hand. I can hear the laughter of thousands. I can hear the feast. I cannot move nor do I want to” which I find really interesting because it somewhat implies that the boiled one was interfering with the video from the beginning 39:15 (I had to slow it down to pause at the right moment)
