Watchin it again after all these years, I still have it 2-1 PH and I'm a big Diz fan. PH pulled out that 8 mile strat and predicted Diz's material beforehand which took a lot of wind out of Diz's sails. Diz was a beast in this battle but PH was more structured and coherent... no robbery but it definitely wasn't a body.

I've watched this battle so many times. From when it first came out until now. I have never once thought PH won. Ive always thought it was pretty even till round 4 where diz bodies him with those FOL references. Even PH has a sigh of relief after they say he won. He knew he should've lost.

SCORE-CARD: Round 1:(10-7,PH). Round 2:(8-8,Tie). Round 3:(8-7,Diz). Round 4/Overtime:(14-13,PH). This was possibly the best Overtime round in Battle Rap! GrindTime had alot of Overtime rounds, this one stands out the most for me. Even tho the time limits were kinda short, this was a pretty classic battle! Dizaster in his early years was already a threat to be reckoned with. Diz was starting to come up around this time. PumpkinHead was already a veteran by this time. PH barely took this, but this one could have went either way. This battle is still pretty debatable even tho PH got the win. PUMPKINHEAD 2-1-1....

So do you take all rounds into consideration or just the last one. It seems like this is another case of: which style do you like better. Cause Ph did in fact do waaaay better than i thought he would completely based on his atrocious Hosting abilities, but he did have that controlled personal material and delivery. Whereas Dizaster got that chaismatic energetic rapid style that excites crowds. Watching this again without my intial surprised factor of PH i thought Diz edged it in 3 and the O.T round. But ironically this is exactly what Diz did to Thesaurus.

@Noxshus LOL so how about late registration, is that not considered a classic? It's his best album, and considered one of the greatest albums of all time (notice i didn't say rap album). And graduation was the last rap album he released. He hasn't dropped anything since but features and mixtapes, and judging from power his new album will come out stronger then any of his old shit. Dizaster is a fucking beast, i personally hate his "loud" style. But his lyrics are on point, i admit it.
