Deluxe castings!, enjoyed it, My favorite is the "Vandecamps Fish Sticks" casting!, it was a mail-in, send in 3 or 4 proof of purchase upc c odes. I believe there were 2 waves. The wave i got had the Deora,Drag bus and something else, shades of pink and green. All very cool!

Hard to pick a favorite - these old GTOs from the 60s are my favorites. The modern GTO is also cool - I am remembering it as a Holden Monaro which I liked very much. As a re-badged Pontiac GTO it is of course not everyone's can of coke but definately also a cool car. Have a great Sunday!

I had to run an now getting back. Bitd the Vande camps Deora and vwbus were promotion mail ins. Not sure where i was at when the gto was available but sadly i didnt get one. Wjats the copyright date on your vande camps gto?

Cool challenge, unfortunately all my diecast is scattered in boxes everywhere because we are redoing the garage and my wife and kid just shied cars into boxes to get them out of the way!!!

Although the Holden Monaro is cool, that red Autoworld 66 is stunning. I like the older body shape. You've shown me that im sadly lacking a casting I love 😮 I think i have 1 GTO and it's an Ultra Hots version 10:58

@@bigkeg9173 Thanks Big Keg 👍I bought that Auto World off the Internet used unopened.We had a real 66 Tempest but it was a four door 326 HO, still very similar car, it was fully restored and Gulf Turquoise blue, very pretty car. I think the problem with the rebadged Monaro over here was the image, GTO was always an Image car for Pontiac, and they did nothing to fluff it up like they did to the Trans-Am that it replaced , until it was too late, Those Aussie built cars were probably some of GMs best cars of the era, sadly many of them were used for engine swaps, I wouldn't mind having one as a daily driver, although I think over there you could have one with the L67 3800 like my Buick, so that would be cool 😎 The HW Ultra Hots GTO is awesome looking💯👍Hopefully they will release some more GTOs soon, they seem to be more focused on the 70 than other years, I like the 64-69 best. 😀

@retoyer the Tempest sounds like a beautiful car 😍 Putting a different nose cone on the Monaro/GTO ruined the look of the car in my opinion ☺️ The Chevy SS was the V8 version of the Commodore and I believe it was used by police departments 🤔 And yes, the 3.8 was the standard engine in our Commodores here. Good motor and lasts forever 👍 I really need to start looking for GTO's now lol

I had to go look up the Monaros again, yes I agree that the Holden has a better look to it, it has it's own character and image, which the Pontiac severely lacks those years.👍
