I have been a fan for over 30 years. Radio K 770 AM from U.of Minnesota in Minneapolis played Social D quite often. Of course I became a devoted follower. Mike Ness' songs spoke to me then , and still do 30+ years later.

Ok it's Saha featherston again..a crazed fan..🤣🤣I know you don't read these but just in case..I love your delivery and story telling..I grew up I the south of England.. and my dad loved country and Irish music.he was an amazing painter and I didn't realize that I grew up with a few famous poets from Cornwall England until I was older and they were dying or dead already!!and I was a rebel without a clue..wearing doctor Martin's and riding soccer trains listening to insane music.and got shipped off to Canada when my parents split up.my mum thought the music I was listening to was affecting my distate of the shifty high school I was supposed to be attending 😎🤣🤣🤣

I met Mike Ness on four different occasions. This was back in the 80s and early 90s. He was a jerk every single time I met him. I love Social Distortion, but their front man isn’t that cool. It’s wasn’t ego, it’s just who he is.

I saw them last week in Berlin: Mike "Bad Boy" Ness and the great combo lifted us all one dimension higher. Thank You :-)) So - that's real Punk. For me: Punk is from Patti Smith and MC5 to Green Day and AntiFlag and all in between, e.g. Nine Pound Hammer, Angry Samones, Johnny Thunders, Dead Kennedys... and sooo many Punk is something to agree. No matter who you are and how you look like.
