A thousand Space Bucks for anyone who names their driver "Irish Wristwatch" 😂 500 for "Purple Burglar" Kidding aside Swedish Jeff is a terrific name for racing Comicazi making so many amazing recoveries in this episode, equal parts skill & luck! The little Bison that could, wonderful outing for "the runt of the litter" today! Bravo, Stoopid Fish Racing!! KingJester you forced a run off here, and I for one am proud of you sticking right in the thick of it to the last, kudos 👏 Definitely want to see Ironbeard perform on the dunes track in his Sand Burner, lots of great drifting with that precise of a balanced build!! Maybe the CG is high when matched with that level of speed in parts of the course Wonderful show GTR!! I noticed the special finish graphics for the halftime runs, showing up well even on a phone screen! 💯😎🏁

That was quite the competitive group. I thought Swedish Jeff might get through on consistency. He seemed slow out of the blocks or right after jumping the creek. Not by a lot but enough that he was always playing catch-up even before entering the drift or joker.

Another awesome race with great drivers. Half time was really good showing multiple views. The ending was up in the air as always. Never can predict this track. I really enjoyed. Thanks for the hard work.

I am not certain of the mechanism used to start the train... maybe Mark can tell us. The extra points come from jumping over the train before the caboose passes by. Only the lanes that jump the train are eligable for extra points and the train only runs after the halftime show.

@user-xf8ub7zo8r I get the train up to full speed on the loop. There's a marker next to the train tracks in the dessert area that i use to click the start switch. I dont have an electronic sensor that does this automatically. I thought about doing that, but I've been too busy with constructing my Sand Dunes track.

Started out pulling for Swedish Jeff because paint job. Slowly switched to Rocky Tundra because baby bison. Still would've liked to see Jeff move on too but that didn't work out. Watching today from a hospital bed (I'm fine, it's just a thing). Thanks for the entertainment - it's really boring here.

Nail-biting races, we were willing our Swedish Jeff to make it through to the next round, dissapointed that he didn’t perform as we had hoped, but sometimes we win, and sometimes we learn. Studying the footage, polishing the mudflaps/steps in front of the wheels, to reduce the chance of digging in on a front heavy landing, was a classic example of Swedish Jeffs mechanic overthinking stuff, as it looked like the front was catching the edge of the track and slowing him down. I think that Aaron jinxed these races. In Round 1, he noted there was only 2 DNFS Before Halftime, there was a TRIPLE DNF, and it feels like they can’t stop DNFing now

This was a great race but it (suddenly) occurred to me that Sudden Death isn't. Sudden Death means next points/win wins, this is best of three!

Yeah, I had one fellow really press me on this issue, and I get it. Football used to call it Overtime Sudden Death, but the first score didn't always end it. As you know, if one team kicked a field goal, the other team still had an opportunity to score. After a couple of seasons, the NFL changed the name to Modified Overtime. That's why I joke about it being Overtime or Sudden Death, or whatever you want to call it.

@@kingjester564 While I would say that overall if it was a good race, it did seem that at times that Stray Dog intentionally did certain things to hinder your progress in a very unprofessional way. I would need to look back at this tape to make sure, but I guess my question towards GTR is this - If a driver did use dirty play towards another driver, are there any penalties? What would be considered dirty/foul play in a race format like this one? I refer to 10:03 and 12:35 as evidence. Thanks for any replies.

​@@kreidas after competitors pass the first hill after the creek jump, what happens is what happens. Interference *before* that part of the snow section can force a restart

@@kreidas all I can do is relay the rules of the host on his behalf as to where a restart is warranted. I have seen another host issue "demerits" to a blocking driver under certain circumstances and two such demerits in a single episode kicks a racer out. Much different racing format there, though
