A superb compromise on the scoreboard designation of the current leader today, highlighting their score in yellow! With such a complex board, the additional work of shifting every driver & scores over 8 laps would possibly delay the production schedule. Well done there GTR Excellent mini diorama of that famous vacation wreck!! 😂 Very convincing! Wow-wow-wow once again it's down to the final run here to determine which plucky driver moves on in a nail biting thrill a second race!! Let's hear it for the Texan diecast racing community well represented today!! 💯😎🏁

Another stellar race day! Thanks GTR production team! Great to see Ross (another Aussie out there), racing! Tough day though, looks like the local fuel didn't agree with his engine! Even tougher day for James Iron Beard. I think that's why my bar and drinks fridge is located next to my track!! Congrats Lone Star!, well done Sam Haul & all! Good luck out there, cheers, Marc D

WOW! This race demonstrates the importance of getting down the track and over the train quickly when it's your time. James, I know your pain! DNF'ing on the last lap at GTR when you're leading is a heart breaker! It was a great battle, congrats to Lone Star! Great job again Mark!!

There are some great tracks out there, and this one is up there with them! I think what sets this channel above the others is the 8 race format vs. everyone else with 4. Months ago, I really enjoyed the 8 cars at once (2 cars per team), but after crying in my coffee for a minute about them not doing that anymore (it was chaotic after all), 4 cars in 8 races has proven perfect.

James, thanks for always bringing your 'A' game! You and Sam made this race very entertaining. Here's a funny behind- the-scenes fact. After filming, I reviewed the drone and overhead cam footage to make the scoreboard. Well, I made a math error and originally thought you had won 26 to 25. Fortunately, Aaron found it and told Richard. 😉

Wow...only 1 point in it again! Shows that the builders and cars are all equal once they hit the track Great racing and I liked the halftime show. We get a really good look at the designs on the cars 🤙🏼

Man, close battle there. Was pulling for Iron Beard but it’s a tough track. Never know who’s gonna win till it’s over. May be why they were so shaken at the start. I’d be shaking too taking on that track. Great job. 👍

When time allows, Jay, take a look at Seasons 1 & 2 here. GTR's first track build broke new ground then, too! I thought it was pure _wizardry_ seeing cars drift, and in three different sections! Also-Also, no visible start gate--how did that happen, you'll wonder!!

So Close, SO CLOSE. WOW. All he had to do was just finish the race. Man! Great racing all. Thanks GTR!!! This was awesome. Not sure about Half time, DoH! The Intro was very funny, 50 Yards, new personal Best, hahaha.

An excellent after-race analysis of how the line drivers take on Mesa Butte affects the opportunity for train jump bonus points! This should clarify how the system works for those a little less than certain. Too bad that the extra effort today may not help the one fellow last week who just didn't understand as he declared he'd no longer attend. His loss.

Another closely fought round all the way to the finish - this time a 3-way battle! There always seems to be one car (or sometimes two) that just has everything go wrong - bad drifting, scrambler mishaps, etc!

A venue fraught with challenges! Can you imagine how tight the competition will be once the field narrows to 16? Lone Star had his balance tightly controlled in this build for sure, so there's one variable of many taken care of!

Yes, Ross Roddin had 2/3 of the weight on the rear wheels, which may have hindered his drifting. With its multiple obstacles, and the fact that none of the builders have access to the track, designing a car to survive the whole length and be quick must be really difficult!@@Chris_Hood
