This is Christmas in July, hands down! Those team tents stand out superbly in the new preparation area! Fantastic graphics that are entirely spot on for the event theme, from the opening titles and crawl down to the start grid, scoring and overall results! Introducing the Sith Lords team really shook things up; I wasn't aware of how they'd come into play so, a surprise to be sure but a welcome one! Also-Also I don't know if you've made any changes with the editing software or the chase camera but I cannot let this comment end without saying never have I seen this show come through with such smooth crispness as I did today! Super kudos for all of this and more!! 💯😎🏁

Hey, thanks, Chris. Same software, better user interface. But honestly, on occasion, I wrestle with skipping video frames in the produced version. The last two times, it's gone away. I'm not entirely sure why, but I have some guesses.

Interesting concept, I’m rooting for the Sith. My dream is to time diecast cars going down a track backwards one at a time, then reverse the footage to produce a diecast hill climb like Goodwood. But I don’t have the technology or the expertise, so please steal my idea, or pass it along to someone who can make it happen!

Good job! I actually played around with that idea a few years ago. What I found was there were moments when the cars actions didn't look real. It's like when you see a person walking backwards and you know what's going on.

@michaelteret4763 I believe it would work best if you had, say, 4 cars in 4 separate lanes no wider than the orange HWs track. They wouldn't be allowed to drift, but the novelty of racing uphill would be the eye candy. However, there's a bigger issue. The cars won't be starting at the same time. The only realistic thing you could do is a time trial where each car goes individually.

@@gravitythrottleracing For entertainment purposes only, no real competition, you can edit as much and toss aside runs as needed keeping only good footage and runs, just for the sake of producing an entertaining product. Much like Mr. Rule did with the early Stundman Sam videos for his channel. It could work if you want it to!

This is just a suggestion but at the drift turn I would suggest increase the bank or incline 1 degree or 2. The cars are coming in fast and the drifting is more bad than good. They just lose too much energy.

I actually built an incline after Season 5 and before this episode. The results weren't as good as I hoped. I'm gonna keep trying, though.

A little confused by this. The cars that start in lane 1 only race in lanes 1 & 2 (Lane 3 = 3 & 4), Surely, if we only have 2 heats the cars starting in lanes 1 & 2 heat 1 should race heat 2 in lanes 3 & 4 then all 4 teams have raced "both sides" of the track. Am I missing something?

You're right on target. Episode II will feature the same groupings, but in the lanes they haven't raced in.

See, I just trust a host to run their show. Sure, there were some questions if not outright doubts before about the track being able to deal with 8 cars at the same time, but all of that dissolved promptly at the end of the very first run. If I could offer a different example the big rig runs over at Chaos Canyon had me perplexed regarding the scoring system however I knew they at least understood the rules so really all I had to concern myself with was to kick back and enjoy the show!
