Playing the arcade mode of this fantastic racing game (the official licensed by FIA). Very realistic game, even in the arcade mode. Quite a classic that aged very well.
Played through old Windows XP real machine.
Recorded with full original sound.

I appreciate that a channel like this exists, I hope you continue uploading material for many more years. It's nice to have a log channel of various old video games. Your channel is very explorable, it helps me to see if I can find a game that I was looking for that I played when I was little, I have no idea if it was a fangame or an official game. if I saw a game I would really remember but the name I do not remember what it is called and all because of the EXE that did not have a name. I know it was a 3D car game but since 1995 onwards I think, Real 3D, not simulated fake 3d like games were before 1995. I'll be checking your playlist OF Game released.

@@Squakenet I think the last memory I have is that I think it was like a futuristic style, and I had a garage to improve car parts. and beyond that I don't remember, and the EXE had the name "GO" haha, that's all the information I have. I don't remember anything else.

I've tried to search everywhere, list of games on wikipedia from those years but I haven't found anything, if you have any list that maybe you can think of it would be great and if I don't find it I wouldn't like to continue insisting on you. Thanks for the video as always. Two suggestions. 1. When going through the menus, give it like a second before you change screen so that those of us who want to see what you are clicking on have time to do so and not have to pause all the time. Pausing all the time can be annoying. 2. In racing games please show more than one camera view, especially if there is a cockpit view. :) Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah, I was very quick this time selecting the race. As for the camera view, I use to do that, but this time, I was so focused on the race that I could not switch cameras. You may have noticed that even a little error during the drive, and your car is out of track.

interesting, never heard of this one, saving for later, I do love my racing games 🙏🙏 I used to play a lot of racing games back in the day just to kill time and just now I realize I was meditating without realizing, racing games require such focus that they can be used as excellent tools for Focus and Concentration

Yes, this one is quite a hard game to master. The simulation is very precise.

Does anyone know of a way of making the first Test Drive: Off Road game (Accolade - MSDOS) work in modern systems? It's one of my favorites racing games and it's one of the few I haven't found a way to make work in modern Windows. Not much luck on Linux either. Necrodome (Raven Software - Win95) is the only other retro game I wasn't able to get working in modern systems either.

If it's Dos based, probably you can run it via Dosbox.

In the end, the secret was to increase the Cycles on Dosbox, something crazy like 96.000 cycles will make the game stop glitching
