Very clever and perfect for those of us with limited space. The fact that it can be disassembled and made compact is brilliant. This is the first video of yours that I have watched and I liked it so much, I subscribed.

Brilliant! Great use of the spindle sander! I have never considered using a fence with it!I need more time for shop projects! I love the small footprint but can be used for big glue ups!
@GTWoodshop2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lucy, thank you. As to bigger glue up, it would be super easy to eaxtend it, double the width using dowells to add two more pieces. 😁😁

I have a bunch of sash clamps. I could use your idea if instead of a rounded castellations I cut slots.

You had me at "there can't be more you say? ah, but there is.." Great idea, I made a similar gadget recently, only mine does not breakdown. Unlike the depiction of most Americans, I'm not fooled by the use of the metric system either because I can count to ten😅

Great job mate. That's about the size of my table. Something like your jig will be a great addition to my mini workshop. Thanks. BTW, where is that hardware store? LOL

Outstanding solution to what is usually a cumbersome process. Now if you can come up with a solution that will make sanding equally pleasant……… Cheers!

I like this concept and will give it a try. Not sure why all the extra steps in production though. Why not a single line of holes in double width stock, then cut through the centre of the line? Shallower cradles yes, but I can't see any detriment.

Dont forget to put some type of mat in the glue upm area, l use carpet rap, its on a roll about £7.00 at most timber, building merchants, keeps working area clean

Whats the benefit of this vs setting your bar clamps on the table, and doing it right on top that way?
@alanrichardson72449 ай бұрын
Where did you purchase that jig for rounding corners?
@Jantimsen5 ай бұрын
i don't get it. the clamps themselves can be put on the bench on their feet?
@remizik2 ай бұрын
same, i'm very confused by the comments praising the idea.
@civedm20 күн бұрын
But....... those pipe clamps have stands on them. Why not just use the table itself?
@GTWoodshop19 күн бұрын
Indeed you could, if I only have one glue to do I won't bother getting the jig out, but if I have multiple as I did today (14 Servings Boards) then the jig just makes life so much easier. 👍
