Congrats to all the runners. I am always amazed at what people are capable of completing. Way to go Sage Canaday. Good luck in Nepal!

18 minutes to do the incline! I’ve done it 5 times and never broke an hour. Brutal fun!

Matt Carpenter's secret is he trained everyday on Pikes Peak. The only way his record will be broken is by a local!
@hypothalapotamus52932 жыл бұрын
If I'm being honest with myself, it can't be all that different from training on a big volcano in Mexico(e.g. Izztaccihuatl, which offers training areas in the 12,000 ft-17,000 ft range). This is probably why Ricardo Mejía (who would probably be the man to beat if Matt Carpenter didn't do his crazy 1993 time) did so well.

I wish I could get to like the format of the Golden Trail Series videos, but it makes the video boring . A race is about continuity and not stop talk, run a bit, stop talk....

Look at the all the wonderful races in the world and here in US we have Pikes Peak Marathon that discriminated women who just want to run, and look at the history of the country it should be called the land of the hatred instead.

@@nhegosh I think you could be a little more polite with your comments. How would you feel if someone said that about you? I think Martina did an amazing job. It's not easy to talk on camera and she certainly did a bette than I could have done or most people for that matter.
