FSR really is a game-saver for old cards like this. Cyberpunk and Dying Light are good examples. They may not look pretty but an eye-burning pixelated mess is better than 0 FPS 😂 That model card looks nice too

I remember I was playing Skyrim with this GPU back in 2013 and was impressed with the performance, then 1 year later Watch Dogs 1 came out and was dissapointed with it and upgraded to a GTX 760 4 Gb. My father still uses the GTX 650 Ti Boost for his secondary office computer and plays the older Need for Speed games on it, I am amazed it's still working for a 9 year old GPU :)

About a year ago I was using a 650ti to play Fortnite and Apex Legends at 1080p. Not the best experience but hey, I was playing :) I was really impressed by it.

01:02 : 60€ for a GTX650Ti Boost *isn' t expensive* at all in my opinion. 1) It's *MUCH* better than a GT1030 , and the GT1030 is much more expensive 2)According to TPU database the boost-version is also very similar performer @1080p with a GTX750Ti . 60€ for a GTX750Ti is a very reasonable price.

@@serebbi i compared this card with having *only* the GT1030 in mind , not other old used cards. The GT1030 is being sold to the stores brand new and many people keep buying it although it's a very overpriced GPU(for gaming at least). Compared to that purchase , the GTX650Ti Boost , seems a very good buy @60€ , that's what i said , i didn't say that bying a GTX760 at the same price isn't a better deal.... --P.S. By the way , your comment left me wondering ( *GTX660Ti at.... 30-40* ?? ) , so i just checked EBay( i live in Europe like Kryzzp by the way , so the shipping cost might differ to yours). The usual price right now for these cards is around 80 ( *including shipping* ). The only one that is around 40 is in an auction right now , thus , not available for direct purchase ,you have to wait for the auction to end to find its real selling price , all those other models are near 80(with shipping) as i said.

Great card. Put one of the 650 Ti (non boosted) into an computer I built for an old friend recently. Coupled with the first Phenom X4 and 8GB RAM, it plays most older games really nice. But because of the old architecture all around, especially the old Phenom, there's a bit of a bottleneck, and some modern games won't even start at all on it. Just gives an error 😅 Odd to see you driving through that promenade on GTA V and not giving a shit about the pedestrians, I'm used to you being so careful there aye. And 10:48 I did hear correctly, didn't I? "Cyberbug" funny stuff 😆😂

Your commentary is so good that I don't even skip games that I'm in no way interested in like Warzone, Fortnite and PUBG. This is the best GPU review channel on the platform, gives you all the info that you need in regards to buy/don't buy without bombarding you with a million non-game benchmarks, gives you results from a lot of games, is straight forward and no BS, and the benchmark gameplay is actually good, like CSGO, Valorant, that victory in Fortnite etc

When I was planning my first build in 12/13 I made a spreadsheet and found that 2 650 Ti Boosts in SLI was the best bang for the buck but that was when developers still made games with SLI/CrossfireX in mind

I got this card during a trip to Malasiya and I got the MSI Twin Forzr Gaming OC boost in 2013 Jan, it was a huge upgrade over my the GTX 550 I had since 2011. Pared with my i7 2600K I had great fun. Power supply I had was a FSP Sparkle 700watt and with 8gigs of ddr3 ram broken into to Kingston 4gb sticks to run dual channel clocked at 1600mhz When GTA V came out on PC I had the 970 MSI OC PRO 4gb. Fun days.

An Asus 650 ti 1GB was my first ever real GPU (not including my geforce 5200 I got in a used PC) and I loved it. As we speak I'm waiting for an Asus 650 ti Boost 2gb card in that mail that I bought on Ebay to feel some nostalgia for something I couldn't afford. I'll probably try to play/live with it for a week for fun. But that 650 ti was my go to GPU from 2013 all the way until 2019 and it never let me down.

I have the 650ti boost galaxy edition on my second gaming pc. It was my first card from a first build back in 2013. I can still play high settings with 60fps for Skyrim SE. Other newer titles, I have to tune down to medium and get about 50-55fps. Everyone has a different preference for their gpu but I find that the 650ti boost can still last for another 5 years. If you play older titles, it will do just fine for whenever that card still lives.

Depends on the videos, these Sunday videos take a really long time to make. Recording takes about 8 hours (usually it isn't smooth sailing and I'll have problems with audio, capture cards, etc) Then editing takes about 6 hours, rendering takes another hour and a half. Uploading is quick because I upgraded my internet, it takes about 10 minutes. Making the description, and timestamps takes another 20 minutes... The thumbnail usually takes about half an hour as well, taking pictures, editing the thumbnail, choosing the background, adjusting colours... So basically I spend the entire day and night of Saturday, Sunday morning and sometimes Friday as well making these Sunday videos 😉

I have to wonder why this card exists. I suppose to compete with the various 7700 series AMD cards? But it does illustrate what a performance gap there was between the GTX 650 and the GTX 660. The GTX 660 is still usable in almost all games it can launch, the GTX 650... nowhere near as much. The GTX 650 Ti must be in the borderline, as this improved Boost version is just about hanging in there. I'm fond of Kepler cards, let's see how long they last (that is, able to launch newer games) until after they stopped receiving support. Tesla cards almost immediately became almost completely unusable, Fermi around a year or two. Let's see if Kepler fares better. Good video as always!

This was my first gpu back in 2013. Galaxy Brand. I still have it to this today but used to play old games from years ago. I usually play lotro and other old titles paired with an i5 3570 and it still packs a good punch. I had it run bfv but I could only get low to medium settings. My opinion is that any medium top tier card from 2017 to 2019 will hold up well with newer titles of today. But what a good investment of a card since 2013. Temps are good and it's seen a lot of action in games.
