I got introduced to the series from an KZbinr recommendation at first I thought that it was another stupid teen series until one day I was at home sick and I decided to watch it!!!!!!! Let me just say that I was shock at the chemistry they have it was so so real!!!! I literally had to watch this Series 20 time’s no exaggeration. Because of how much It was so believable of the triumph, and tribulations that they had to over come with each other’s feelings . I do realize that’s it’s April 6 2022 and A lot of people including myself is waiting on the proper ending #Season2 …… But for me I am waiting on ANYTHING ELSE FROM THESE TWO TOGETHER’… There love is so SO PURE ‘ that whatever they do together it will be no doubt AMAZING . I have read an article on how #timmyxu had to suffer because of the chinese REDWICK AND COMMUNIST PARTY LAWS ……. #Guhai=Bailuoyin

*TRIGGER WARNING* Tbh I initially loved this (and still do) but I had qualms because this relationship is pretty abusive. This feeling only became bigger when I read the first of the 2 novels its based on where GH actually rapes BLY (even tho bly later forgives him). The 2nd book is so much better and they have a much healthier relationship. This is a common thread found among the author's book where all of her books feature either lowkey or hikey abusive relationships(tho apparently FengMeng isnt so thats good) and its worrisome. Theyre cute couples but most gay relationships arent as abusive as she portrays them and it perpetuates harmful stereotypes

Honestly, I think if they were to ever to shoot season 2. They can take the raping part out. It would not change the story and it isn’t necessarily needed. Regardless, if GH raped BLY or not he still choose to be with GH. But I have to say the love and devotion that GH have for BLY is the most sweetest love I’ve ever known.

Yea, I had the same feeling. If you look at a lot of romance drama relationships, no matter what the genders involved, they're either borderline unhealthy, toxic, or abusive. Like, for example, I adore TharnType, but Tharn definitely steps on some consent boundaries and Type has a hair trigger temper that borders on physically/mentally/emotionally abusive when he's upset. There are several dramas that blur that consent line when it comes to sleeping and/or being drunk. It's just stuff that really adds to the drama, but are total red flags irl. This particular drama does get pretty violent though. I read most of the first book and a few chapters of the second, but at the time I couldn't find a complete version of either anywhere. I'll have to try looking again. And I love the drama, I really do, and would love to see more of it, but they'd def have to tone it down.
