The 790 Visa have nothing to do with what the government is discussing on the support that the Australian Government is going to give Hong Kong residents in Australia with Temporary Resident Visa. Please wait till the official press release before you make any assumptions. This is highly misleading.

I DID mentioned in the video this is not relevant to BNO holders or all HKers. But there were news reporting that AU gov may grant safe haven visa for onshore refugee - which is totally possible as long as the applicant flee to AU for protection - this visa has been existing for ages. please read news and immigration law before misleading other audience.

@@EllenAustralia That's not what the Prime Minister said and the Acting Immigration Minister has only said to wait for further press releases. ( I checked with his office directly) At no stage was the 790 Visa mention by any member of the government. The actual plans are still been discussed. Please check with the actual departments and ministers involved before you mislead your audience with 3rd hand "News".
