Don’t boast. KL is a Tier 4 or 5 city in China. Tiny village compared to Cn cities.

@@Brisamars-q1c Lol that's funny. I bet you never visited China. Their shopping malls can't compare to ours. Just like this KZbinr has mentioned, their shopping malls are really deafening silent, catering primarily for food only. Go visit China, and see the "real" China than what you are imagining of China. KL is not inferior to them.
Hello..ni men hao..tq for sharing beautiful Christmas ⛄ decorations Mall.. happy shopping 🛍️🎉❤😊

Normally u can find many chinese in cities… malays are mostly in outskirts.. it’s the same concept no matter which country u go, u can always find chinese in cities because it’s the location to earn more money..😊

There is an “unsaid” competition amongst the malls for these festive decorations. Thus it is a destination for people to check it out every festival. The usual malls would be Suria KLCC, Mid Valley, The Gardens Mall, Pavilion KL, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Sunway Pyramid, One Utama etc but it changes year to year. Newspaper will sometimes publish Top 5, or Top 10 malls for the decors. Also interestingly, even though Malaysia’s official religion is Islam, and there is only less than 10% of the population who are Christians in Malaysia, it’s not uncommon to have gift exchanges in offices and with friends and family during Christmas.

i was there last week, and i think it's the best designed mall in KL
Most major big malls have their respective member club, just collect points by spending on the participating stores in the mall and use the points to redeem things, free parking. Eg this The Gardens Mall has the membership, if you obtain thr top emerald membership you will get free parking at thr mall as well as adjacent mid Valley mall parking ( including the valet parking at there gardens), there is a club member lounge area to chill and have complimentary drinks and tidbits located at level 6 (Isetan side), there are some high end restaurants behind LV there facing outside the main road 😊
Great vlog on MidValley and Gardens. Good alternative to Bukit Bintang area. There are three or four hotels in this complex and in KL Ecocity which connected to the Gardens side of this complex. I believe KL Ecocity has another mall (less busy) and is the exit point for the LRT (Abdullah Hukum station) and a longer walk to MidValley via pedestrian links than KTM Kommuter (Midvalley station). The latter having fewer train frequency? Any locals here can clarify?
@klloo56893 күн бұрын
Yes there's a long pedestrian bridge that connects from Eco city to Mid Valley but it closes around 11pm or midnight and the 'mall' in Eco City is much much smaller and foot traffic is much lower. Nevertheless this is the only possible access by LRT to Mid Valley. KTM is of course much less frequency than LRT

@klloo5689 Thanks. Good to know. It will also help me decide which hotel to stay at: Amari @ KL Ecocity, St. Giles Boulevard, Cititel MidValley. Leaning towards St. Giles Boulevard. Probably check them out in person first, see which shops I want to be closest to first, how much I want to buy, then book hotel online.

Shanghai's high-speed trains appear "very advanced" as well, but the high-quality, imported Japanese or German bearings are needed for safety -- yet these past partners have IP problems against China! So, one should avoid the "very high-tech" trains for one's safety:)

Yes, it's on the news. In ten years' time, similar problems would occur in many industries.
