😂 they are both trying to out do each other in the trick and revenge department! So funny! He knows she’s got him under her spell because he’s willing to pay her exorbitant prices on these meals because he really enjoys her company and he knows early on he’s in love with her. She might not belong in his rich world but she has that zest for life attitude, she’s charming and everyone adores her, she’s a self taught culinary prodigy, unpretentious, real, loyal, loving, and cares for friends, family and of course Lu Jin. She’s also young, innocent in some things but has old souls when it comes to other things, very intuitive which shows in her cooking style and the way she handles her interactions with people. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and doesn’t care if about your social status or how rich or poor you are. Since her parents weren’t around and her grandpa raised her, the whole neighborhood and extended family stepped in and became her family too so that’s why she’s down to earth and why everyone loves her which is the opposite of how Lu Jin was raised. He grew up alone except for his mother who was strict on him, forgets his birthday and the only ones he’s close to are some of his employees. He saw how much richer her life is which affected her beautiful inner self and her talent. He longs for that kind of connection. When he proposed to her, and she took him to a family gathering, she asked him if he was uncomfortable or if he had fun. He said he liked it and happy because now he has a large family to spend time with and that made her smile. He still has that strict and hardness persona but shows in only in dealing with his business but he shows his softer side to her and those only close to them both. She changed him for the better. He was truly a good man because he’s not afraid to say I’m sorry if he was wrong, he sticks up for her, protects her, listens to her makes time for her even-though he’s super busy running a company, and just really appreciates her for who she is. Oh, and he took care of her when she was sick. It was so cute!

This is so funny!!! In a casual, very ordinary setting Lu Jin is given 5-star service, including delicious food. The bath towel serving as service napkin killed me. Then the tab has a run down. 😄😄😄😄😄😄complete with corkage fee.
