Leehom wrote this song for his character in the movie Lust, Caution. The photos shown in the background were stills from the film. You can't fully appreciate how beautiful it is until you understand the Chinese lyrics and his character's story. It was meant to be nostalgic to match the historical backdrop of the Sino-Japanese War, which is why it's a bit different from his usual C-pop songs.

Wang lee hom's music was my high school and university favourite male artist. When others admired Jay Chou, David Tao and JJ Lin. And also his album 心中日月 is my first ever bought album back then when we still bought CD's as albums to collect and listen to in my car. I bought 3 more of his albums consecutively when I went back to Taiwan to see my dad during the summer. His music just brings back so many memories of my high school and university years! 😊

@@snoope.snoope 不是炫技，老王现在的唱法已经是重于科学式的唱法，如果真要用以前的唱法保持至今是很难得。他现在的唱法不仅能让自己的声音一直都保持着良好的状态，也能再每段歌曲都唱得很顺畅也不挤桑，减少声带的震动面积，能够减少喉咙的负担，毕竟年纪大了

I wonder when you guys are going to review Decode by ZhouShen, one of his latest movie soundtrack song. Especially that Faouzia has been asked to do the English version very soon after. I'm going to keep suggesting with every video, I watch. I mean cmon, I doubt im the only one, I bet most of the viewers are dying for that review too. Because you like both of the singers but also, ZhouShen has mentioned in interview that it's one of his more difficult song, I've watched other reviewers also explaining how it's a really difficult song. Also I just want to say what I've said before in other comments. I know it's not a competition, but ZhouShen wins.

Wang Leehom is American born Chinese, literally a citizen of America. And he is way so much older than Henry Lau LMAO By the way, I think one of the most 'fancy' belting from Wang Leehom would be the live singing together with the original songwriter and also the main rapper for the song, 'Stranger In The North' at Daan Park, Taipei, Taiwan. Wang Leehom said in the free live show that he wouldn't dare simply sing the song especially during bad vocal day because the song is drenching all his energy LOL His voice basically sounded like sun ray shining at the sky horizon, and so far I have never heard anyone else sing like him for the exact song! And the official release of the 'Stranger In The North' at Namewee's official channel, Wang Leehom's part is actually recorded at his hotel room in Beijing while he was busy shooting his China drama as an actor at the same period of time too.

it happens. I think sometimes when you are on a comment spree so to speak, KZbin does that, maybe some measures against spamming. I was commenting on short, because well there are shorts it just fun to comment on nonsense content, but when I actually comment on a. video, it keeps disappearing, I checked my comment history on my account it looks like its posted but its not in the video no matter how I search it. Usually just leave it for awhile not even a day maybe a day, it'll be fine again.
