Leehom was born in Rochester, New York and English is his first language. If not mistaken, he didn't officially learn Mandarin till he was 18 or so. If he had those Mandarin singers characteristics, I assume he could've picked it up from others.

I really like this channel and its format. It really offers unique cultural perspectives on China, music, and the West. If there is one constructive criticism I could offer, it would be for the hosts to research a bit about the singers being premiered in the videos so that our teacher can have some background and perspective on whom to she is listening. That way, her questions can be answered right away, and the hosts do not need to linger too long on trivial information. Other than this, what a great and fun channel!

@@rogerrabbit5110 yea, they were saying they wanted the video to be firsthand experiences so that they don’t do research. It’s an excuse to some degree. I mean Jay, i.e. the boy, could do research since the reactions are mostly coming from the woman.

一整段聽下來只有覺得Kenny G真強，在合唱裡聽到王的聲音就是四平八穩完全沒有一秒驚艷，更不曾有讓我有直擊靈魂的感受，直到10:28秒老師和王同時唱一句so sad，一秒就聽到王力宏和老師的距離猶如鴻淵，感覺就像平地人在找原住民尬歌。也難怪要找Kenny G，不然王這整個演出根本太平淡了沒有靈魂。
