This was so much fun! OMG, that drone footage. Glad it didn't hit, but equally as glad to see such an awesome closeup. That's got to be the best "near miss" ever! Drones have brought us to a whole new level. Now I'm getting to see Mexico like I've never seen it before, unless someone had the really big bucks to do helicopter footage. Really loving the drone footage everywhere. It was cool to see an overview of the city. Last year when I was in San Juan de los Lagos, it would have been about an hour or less from Guadalajara. Now I wish when I got on that return bus to Monterrey that I would have taken a couple of days in Guadalajara before returning to Monterrey. Can't wait to go back. You guys are so funny. The whole family takes so well to the camera. Love the dresses. I bet Tory looked awesome. Oh, I really cracked up laughing over the menu in English. Some poor Spanish dude is proud that he did such a good job translating.... lol....eggs bathed in tummy ???? I can't stop laughing. Would that be an embryo? The hotel is beautiful. I want to stay there. Will you guys be retuning to Mexico in the future? Btw, I'm also watching another cute young couple in Mexico on YT - Kinetic Kennons - Greg & Hillary. They are a young couple from Dallas (my town) who decided to go live in Puerto Vallarta for a while. They're cute and also a lot of fun. Maybe you'll check them out. Good to see you guys again. Hasta luego, amigos ;-))

That's awesome. Thanks for letting us know. You'd love the hotel and we forgot to mention the price. Just thought of that. Darn it. It was only $65 US or so. Great hotel with an exceptional location. Yeah, Spain was sure effective at "colonizing" or taking over cities :)
@TravelingKristin7 жыл бұрын
Yes you are right about the colonization, but I guess I was still taken back with the neo-classical architecture styles. That is an incredible price for that hotel! In the US it would easily go for over $300 a night. You are making me want to go explore Mexico more with each video. :)

Tlaquepaque is a great neighborhood!! I've visited in Guadalajara three times. I am so great full for your wonderful photography. The drone going through the towers on the basilica was amazing! Did you try some of the taco venders in Tlaquepaque? Normally I follow the advice of a Spanish teacher in Cuernavaca, "Nunca, nunca, nunca come en las calles" (Never, never, never eat in the streets). But, it was delicious, and I didn't get sick. Awesome video (as usual). thank you for sharing your journey! ☺
@KeepYourDaydream7 жыл бұрын
Ha! Thanks. You're so right. Before I took off, I pulled the drone out... walked 20 feet in front of me and put it down. Then walked back to the park bench. I've *never* done that ever. I've always taken off with the drone about 5-10 feet away. Had I not, the drone would be gone! And I'd be in Mex prison still :)
@alexancheta95627 жыл бұрын
Drone shots most appreciated as they establish a clear identification of location you are in and who doesn't like beautiful aerial shots of the wonderful architecture? Funny how in the past, to get those kinds of shots, you would spend thousands of dollars in chopper fees, steadicam rental rates, etc. But now, after the initial acquisition cost of a DJ Phantom, nada.

I also forgot to mention when traveling to Mexico I would suggest since you have a big family getting l house or apartment for rent through airbnb you can get a nice apartment or house in a nice area between $35 to$ 45 per night. Most this houses or apartments have furniture, internet, kitchen, fridge etc.. included with the money exc is really cheap and better than staying at a hotel. Mexico is a beatiful country my only complaint is the driving it just not for me in there.
