@@campingtexan7721 I used to take my daughters tent camping there when they were little. Loved that it was close to the city but remote enough to feel very much like wilderness. When I was 11 or 12 that park opened and my dad had just bought a 17' Shasta trailer that we took vacations in. Between GR State Park and Goose Island, we had a lot of weekend getaways. Fun times
