I’m how is it fake all pacific islands we are all family and we share stories and traditions with one another so don’t call it fake if u don’t actually know coming from a chamorro respect my culture bc we are indigenous to are own culture and island we never copied other’s culture but are own that was lost for decades

The father of Chamorro dance was a Polynesian dance student in the 80s. His teacher encouraged him to incorporate Chamorro traditional with her own Hawaiian style, and this is what we got. These dances have been taught and cultivated for forty years to generations of students, so you can't say we just pulled these dance out of our asses. Famatkilu ya hanao, thanks
