Great historical background summary. The history makes for the present- that context makes this video episode extra good.

😥 Guam dudes also like the Japanese snacks lol. You can find choco pie and chocolate stick dips in small mom and pop stores in the south lol.

That is such a gorgeous way to start the video with the rainbow and water. That ramen looks so good. It made me so hungry. I love how you’re a little celebrity in Guam lol. The story about your mom was sweet and touching. Judging by the video, I can see why she loved it so much. I would have gotten the Mac-n-cheese burger. The cafe food looked good too.

That sugar smack looking coffee does indeed taste like sugar smacks, there's another can coffee simply called Thai Coffee found in some Mom and Pop stores that taste similar. Both are good and I love em.

I think they call that donut burger 'the luther' (after luther vandross) I know KFC did a chicken version some years ago but I've never had the real thing... would certainly be curious to try it!

Farenheit would be 80 degrees in Guam during winter

A few years back, I spent two weeks on Guam and while I've eaten many burgers in my life, Meskla Dos is still etched in my memory!

Your history lesson on Guam / Saipan & Southeastern Asia was great. Interesting how the tourism is set for Japanese / Korean & China .

Today we join our favourite Beach Bound Nerd as he he floats in water while giving a history lesson as to Guam/the CNMI's land ownership. Later he gives a look at Doughnut Burger (mmmmmmm Donuts), and various oother things to do in the Shopping/Tourist district of the Island, while explaining that this place is a good gateway to try Japanese goods without actually going to the country.

I know you're pretty light on doing the tourist stuff Adam, but any last minute place you personally found interesting in Japan that might be worth checking out? I like history a lot, so I wanna check some stuff out.
