Which is completely fine, BUT you can't say they didn't heavily borrow from classic Boy Band tropes such as the marketing and presentation to the point of having a lot of fandom overlap with 1D. So yeah, I'll stick with my original statement, which was not meant to be taken as an insult to 5SOS by any means, was only an observation.

This movie NAILED the concert scenes!! I could rewatch them over and over. They also nailed the whole boyband aspect. They definitely feel like a real band. Great casting decision to hire professional dancers. And Nick, being so talented, blends right in. 😍

No, he is not a dancer, and had to do a' boy band camp' to get the moves. He has admitted he was terrified of doing the dancing, but if he could manage to not fall off the stage he thought he might be OK. On the other hand - he acts like a dream, sings all the songs, genuinely plays piano and guitar. So what's not to love? The rising star that is Nicholas Dimitri Constantine Galizine.

He worked with a dancer everyday. The blonde one is a dancer that I see often on instagram. It took me a minute to realise he was the one in the movie. All the others are dancers and not actors so he did well to not look overly awkward next to them.
