Guardian Heroes (Saturn) All Bosses (No Damage, Hard). It is a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up video game in the vein of Final Fight or Golden Axe, but with RPG elements. Guardian Heroes was developed by Treasure and released in 1996 for the Sega Saturn video game console.

Loved this game so much, doing a remake of the game I created in high school based on a comic my brother and I created as kids lol It was heavily inspired by this, though it is sci-fi fantasy, as the main character is part human and of a primordial alien race. Working hard on having it look like Guilty Gear.

Advance Guardian Heroes on GBA is the sequel. The intro shows the sword of undead hero attacked by super Zur. You also fight some of the heroes from this game as they are possessed. The GBA version is hard, and I discovered the Saturn game looking for some AGH speedruns. I'm also thinking Gunstar Heroes is related, because the art style matches

It definitely does depend on the difficulty. The AI can be very aggressive and vicious on max difficulty - especially in the remake!

This game is tough as nails don't get it twisted
