Staying in the future is pointless as it's pretty much a loosing battle, the only thing we got out of that is a future version of the knight and one of the saddest moment in this game. Seeing Lil Princess cry like that brought back really painful memories for me.

In a way, Choosing to stay is a bad choice, not only do you mess up the timeline you have created an endless loop where the very next princess after the first one will go through the pain over and over again Leaving is the best option, yes it's painful but FP is pretty content with you leaving her to let her past self not experience the same pain as she did. So yeah Future Knight is basically the selfish choice and Choosing to go back is the selfless choice.

Im kinda 2 years late in playing this game and just finished S1. The ending really broke me man. The way FP looked at you when you were leaving with that smile and tears in her eyes I just can't bear the sadness behind those smile and the moment she said "Say hello..to me from the past" did it for me. The second option Imo is just way worse for me Cuz I just can't leave LP behind she's so precious and innocent, I cried when I saw that alternate ending where you stayed. LP just casually waiting while crying for her to see your helmet thinking youre dead. 😢😢 This game is really well written and Kudos to those devs who are very generous andbhard working

Indeed, we never meant to be in the future. It's part of Beth's plan to crush us when we are not ready. Remember, we are only a few months old since we are appointed as a Knight and Guardian at the same time. Tho, it would be better if they include the other guardians we haven't recruited yet. On ch 10, I think we have 5 guardians left to be recruited. Would be nice if we have like 1-2 guardian(s) there (act as a spoiler) to spice up the story way more

Nah bro, it's a different timeline. The knight on future princess's timeline has disappeared for a fact. Let's say there are 100 different timelines and you chose to stay with future princess. That means, the ninety nine other timelines will be affected and ninety nine little princesses will have to suffer as the timeline repeats itself with knight not coming back. But if you chose to go back, you will bring balance to the space-time and all the ninety nine little princess, including the little princess in your timeline, won't have to suffer just like future princess. Going back means bringing balance to the timelines but staying will ruin the timeline and will make all the little princess in other timelines suffer. If we go by this case, then going back is the best option since future princess is not even related to you in any way. Her knight disappeared and is never going back. As for you, you have little princess waiting for you.

So you know this creats an endless LOOP thus it's obvious this is the non cannon ending and instead going back to the past is the correct choice.. On logical stand point it makes sense to go back as Our timeline's Knight would've simply repeated the same mistake they had done to the Future's FP frankly..thus creating the LOOP..the correct timeline is the Guardian undoing all the atrocities from occurring in the first place.

Well both endings are canon due to what it is said by Lili and the Savior in the True Ending being that it has been a loop for quite a while. This Bad ending been happening constantly in a cycle already through multiple "games" that Lili has been playing and it is only once a Knight choose to return to the past when this loop finally ends. So the story is basically Old Games that lead to Savior's defeat or victory -> Prologue -> Season 1 story -> Bad Ending (stay in th future) -> Loop back to prologue of Season 1 ??? amount of times since all past versions of Knight keep choosing to stay in the Future -> True Ending (a Knight finally choose to return to the past) -> Season 2.

According to GT's FB post and FK's bio, FK is the one and only knight that chooses to stay with FP in the entire multiverse, all others choose to go back. So technically there's only ONE FK.

you had the 2nd chance to make everything right is what the choices means basically. its such a hard choice becuase. option 1: make the new princess happu after that shes been through. option 2: dont make the same mistake again and prevent the little princess from becoming sad. though it wont be that sad if you know the fact that the future princess can just travel through time again. it also breaks my heart a bit on the inn clips where little princess and the knight were making wishes on a flying lantern and after all the wishes flew theres a future princess observing on the ground remembering all their memories together...

nah there won't be a loop because there is only 1 guardian, you will just stay in the future but the original world will be doomed to be invaded and eventually it will turn into what we see in the future world, except there won't be a guardian to save them so they will all die

No The DEV said both are canon And if you choose Male Knight in the first place The scene in the end will change to Male Future Knight I think its going to be either alternate costume (I'm assuming its a free costume from story of some kind) or maybe they gonna have something like Mei and Fei have (If you choose Male Knight then your FK suddenly turns to male, but if you choose Fmale Knight then your FK will stay the same) Ofc its not now Lets just wait for later update Don't make a conclusion too fast

a bit late but I Stayed if i didn't stay Future princess would be lonely again since eva died and some of them died if i went back it means that i am also killing the Future Princes soooo and i think its just fkd up
