Im still enjoying the memory from the 11th Feb...Was a surreal and fantastic experience ..Have always followed their works and have listened to them from about 1979 ......and got to shake hands with Neil Tennant before the gig. Is sad to think that maybe the last time they may tour in this country ! ?

I'm not 100% sure, but that may be me at 1 min 28! This was the best live show of any description I've ever seen. I'll never forget it.

I saw them in 1991 at Brixton Academy, and during The Robots, whilst all the Robots were on stage, I was surveying the crowd, I like to look behind me and see the faces, I was just right of the stage near the front, and a guy looked at me and pointed just beyond me. And standing there watching his Robot was Florian! He looked at me smiled a little conspiratorial smile, put his finger to his lips “sshh” and then disappeared back into the crowd. Hardly anyone around us noticed. It’s a truly treasured memory.

Ironic given Kraftwerk appeared to be performing in front of some lifeless Showroom Dummies.

A fan's take... dispassionately their naivety is either charming or irritating... sadly I am always reminded of Father Ted...

Kraftwerk's music hasn't dated... Is he serious?

Obviously by standards of what equipment and technology was available to them in the 70s and 80s it has definitely dated. But the songs structurally and melodically sound like they could've been made now instead of by a band that inspired scores to make the songs of now and not by a band of European guys 40 years ago. Take a song like Computer Love. The theme of the lyrics aren't out of the ordinary, the melody is catchy and the bassline has a groove to it. It was made 38 years ago but all of it's components could be found in a song in the present day.
