I think it's the first time I've seen a game having to resort to polygon geometry reduction in order to run well in Old-Gen, most other games only have differences in resolution and textures, but in this case they did well. further in the cuts. I wonder how long the PS4 generation (and especially Xbox One since it was weaker) will manage to run current games acceptably.

@@MoonSarito Many of these games, if not most, are being built with the PS4 as the target spec, with the PS5 and Series X being up-ports. This isn't necessarily good for pushing next-gen game design, obviously, but it is good for the bottom line of publishers.

Lo que quedo claro es que no se aprovechó tanto como debian, y puede que parte de la culpa la tuviera la generacion intermedia que hubo (ps4pro y xbox one x) buscando innovar en resolucion pero limitando los graficos para lograrlo, si un juego como Avengers/Guardians of the galaxy o Red Dead Redemption 2 hubieran salido de lanzamiento en ps4/one el limite que hubieramos conseguido seria inpresionante, lo mismo pienso de ps5/seriesX, demasida "retrocompatibilidad" que no es muy diferente de recibir un remaster de lanzamiento, pero juego que REALMENTE aprovechen todas las novedades hay muy pocos... ahora bien, 1080p, 30fps, graficos medios si se puede lograr en una pc del 2013-2014, el problema esta en que pc requiere los 60fps para ser comodo usar el mouse, y eso ya es el doble de rendimiento necesario.

I'am playing this game on 2014 ps4 and graphics is more then fine. Biggest problem, a sudden drops to 25 fps from nowhere in special locations. You can fight 20 npc and be at stable 30 fps. But, in small shity empty corridor it's drops huge. P.S. Game itself is very good

The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X were spec'd to run post-1080p resolutions, while the Series S is the budget upgrade path for Xbox One/S owners and largely targets 1080p. On the bright side, the Series S has a CPU that destroys the Pro and One X, so we're seeing lots of 60fps modes in Series S versions (where the Pro/X only manage 30fps). The result for GotG on Series S is a bit disappointing, however.

The series s likely has many other graphical bumps, shadow, SSR resolution, there could be lots of things. Elanalista did mention the PS4 pro has significantly reduced geometry detail. We shall see hopefully when elanalista makes a video on it.

@@SuperMonshine Series S has higher bandwidth than the PS4 Pro. It beats it in every way (whereas the One X is superior in some areas), except for a very slightly lower teraflop count. The only explanation I could see here is that the S was actually running in 60fps mode before the patch, and when they capped it because the framerate was unstable, they didn't bother to raise the resolution (even though presumably it could afford to go higher now it's capped). The PS4 Pro runs at a higher resolution because it was designed for 30fps from the start. Maybe they will eventually patch the S version to increase the resolution.

@@kevinortega678 si viste bien el Video , la diferencias hay que mírarlas con lupa , cómo los acercamientos que hacen, una diferencia notable sería que en ps5 corriera a 60fps a 4k nativos o 8k cómo fue su publicidad, por eso digo entre pagar una ps5 que en mi país es más del doble en dinero que una PS4, no compensa su valor a lo que otorga. PD:los juegos de Ps5 cuentan un 40% más que los de PS4 😐. Es solo mi punto de vista.

The performance is also poor on the PC. Hopefully, if they keep working on it, they might be able to raise the resolution in performance mode. Right now, the game is very pretty but very badly optimised.

The performance is excellent on PC. They messed up the console versions badly. A 5700XT runs it better. An RTX 2060 significantly so. It should also be noted that it's a very pro Nvidia game, it's the opposite situation from AC: Valhalla. Hopefully AMD will release some drivers to help.

Xbox Series S has an SSD and a powerful CPU which allows games to run faster and with better performance. But it lacks available amount of RAM memory and GPU speed, it has less ram available for texture allocation than Xbox One X and its GPU is slower not only than Xbox One X but also PS4 Pro. Por que hay nuchos otros que en one x corren a 1080p 60fps The witcher 3 es mundo abierto y tiene ese modo en one x, forza horizon 4, gears 4 y 5, zombie army 4, crahs 4, warzone corre a 1800p, doom eternal 1800p 60fps, asta sekiro corre a 1800p 45fps, que tambien pudo tener un modo 1080p 60fps facil, y ni hablar de los juegos que corren a 30 fps con una resolucion entre 1800p y 4k, que seria 4k dinamico, como red dead 2, assassins creed odysey,

the ps4 pro cpu is terrible, the ps4 gpu is equivalent to an rx 570, not even the rx 570 runs the game at 60 fps, apart from the console has only 8 gb of ram, it doesn't run at 60 fps due to lack of hardware

4K/30 or 1080p/60 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X 1080p/30fps with less texture quality, less draw-distance, less foliage and less shadow quality on Xbox Series S ( in sometime it's looks even worse than the PS4 Pro or Xbox One X )
