I like his enthusiasm and showmanship (most likely learned while Lloyd Kaufman took him under his wing at the relatively young age of 26 to write the classic Tromeo and Juliet script). The man clearly knows how to write/adapt scripts and/or Original material to create a fun movie. GOTG V 2 has everything going for it and I pray that it avoids the curse that hits most sequels (larger budget = less satisfying movie, although the curse usually hits on the 3rd film-I'm looking at you Batman forever).

Loved this movie! Gonna watch it again! Kurt Russell was Brilliant. Yondu was amazing! Baby groot was adorable. Drax was Deeper and funny. Nebula was understandably fierce. Gamora was elite yet grew. Mantis was odd yet beautiful. Rocket was conflicted and Lost. Starlord was on a journey. And the story is definitely worth a rewatch. Amazing job mr Gunn.
