I think the reason for the music having less of an impact was probably because the music was significantly star lord, while this film seemed to focus on the team as a whole more

What I love the most about Vol.3 is how willing it was to show the unpleasant side of people we love and the trauma and fear that losing control over something. Which is what makes it all the more beautiful when our characters embrace that ugliness.

Literally the fucking intro by radiohead sets the stage pretty well. It sets a relatively depressing tone with Rocket singing it which fits perfectly for the topic of his story in the movie

I loved this movie and the music was amazing but at the same time I feel like as much as there wasn’t scenes where someone was dancing to a song it was more towards the emotion. Perfect example when rocket listens to Radio Head’s Creep (The Acoustic Version) you can feel the pain and suffering in his walk and what he had experienced and how he lost everyone and doesn’t want that to happen again. In a way that’s why Star Lord and Rocket clash so much it’s because they are like the same person.

This movie is freaking amazing if i had to give a number score 8.5/10 For me the music was actually really cool, the opening scene with rocket using creep by Radiohead was PERFECT. And lverall i thought the music choices were very good on this film. Not sure how hot this take would be but, this trilogy isn't just the MCU's best trilogy it is one of the greatest movie trilogies ever. I might just be riding James Gunn though. Edit: spelling

Rocket is my favorite of the Guardians, and they really did not pull any punches at all with his backstory. I cried at certain moments throughout this movie, and overall I really enjoyed it despite some of its flaws.

Macro basically put everything perfectly. I was really dissapointed with the music mostly but I cried 3 times during the movie so I’ll still rank the Guardians trilogy as a masterpiece and one of the best trilogies I have ever seen

This is a great movie. My only complaints are that some of the scenes are useless or too fast with little to actually 0 dialouge. *Also that Star Lord never used his mask. HE NEVER USED IT, WHY?!*

An 8 out of ten is fantastic for this movie. 9’s are reserved for near perfection, which this movie was far from. Personally, I’d honestly give it a 6/10 myself, I was kinda disappointed by it. But hey, still better than most of the trash marvel has put out recently
