If you listen to the home broadcast which I know Jeff enjoys the visitors more… you would know Josh has been intentionally hitting the ball up the middle the past week to try and find his base hit swing again in hopes of working out of this slump he’s been in. Great show gentleman! ❤️

New Platoons: At CF, Freeman for RHP and Brennan for LHP. I know Brennan bats left, but Freeman is on fire right now. At SS, Schneemann for RHP and Rocchio for LHP At DH, Manzardo for RHP and Arias for LHP At C, Bo for RHP and Hedges for LHP. Fry is a part-time catcher either because of injury or we r facing an NL team. Protecting Fry's offensive output should be the team's goal now. Starting Lineup vs. AL RHP: Kwan @ LF Ramirez @ 3B Gimenez @ 2B Fry @ RF Naylor @ 1B Schneemann @ SS Manzardo @ DH Freeman @ CF Bo @ C Thoughts?

Jose at 3rd so he can drive in more runs and I also like how vogt has gimenez 6th since it lengths it more and not have big dropoff w bo and rocchio

I would love if they could swing a Ward and Anderson package. Plus, even if I had to give up top prospects I’d be assured they won’t do anything since they’re going to the Angels. Any thoughts though on a buy low for Snell?

2 comments 1. I love the World Baseball Classic! If you didn’t watch the 2023 series it was great and you missed out, and the 2017 series was fun too 2. It’s hard to consider what Cleveland will trade for because we really don’t know what’s available. If Arizona and Tampa Bay fall out to Gallen and Eflin become available? I think those arms would be huge. If Houston falls out are Framber Valdez and Verlander available? Hard to say right now. Of the arms I am reasonably confident will be trade bait, Luis Severino and Jesus Luzardo intrigue me the most. I think an outfielder is a more realistic ask
@LockedonGuardians7 ай бұрын
I tease about the WBC because how much Justin loves it, I don't think any of those arms come available. Each team think they can contend in a year so they aren't trading guys who can help in 2025. I just think with Kwan , Fry, and Freeman the need in the OF is low. Luzardo will cost a ton so I can't see it but Severino might make some sense

@@LockedonGuardians Cleveland Native living in Japan here. (Go Hanshin TIgers!) Japanese will tell you they are the best in the world because they won the Classic. The whole country watched it and they partied like they won the soccer world cup after. And many are starting to suspect the NPB is a better league. The classic matters to everyone but us. I actually think losing it might cause less international free agents to come to the US. (Yo im NGL the fan experience in Japan is superior at least) We gotta take it seriously.

Isn't it just amazing that when Jose begins to show some strike zone discipline after taking strike 3 and cutting his hair, he has an awesome month of May? And now Josh Naylor is swinging at pitches that nay not even be in the same area code as home plate and he is struggling mighty. When Josh MAKES the pitcher throw strikes and be aggressive in the strike zone again he will get back to the April Josh that looks like an all-star. I hope he stops trying to hit a ball 500 feet and be willing to take a walk and let David Fry punish the pitcher fir walking him.

@LockedonGuardians7 ай бұрын
Because when you option players who have an option down in spring training when they don't make the team, that burns an option if they're down more than 10 days. They've been on the 40 since the end of 2021. Hence this is their third option year.

Let’s be honest guys up to this point Lively has been the ace of this staff. I know we would be more comfortable if he was a back of the rotation guy but for us this year no pitcher has been as consistent at Ben. Also the way he gets outs makes for fast innings and an engaged defense. Getting our guys back in the dugout to work the other teams starter. Things that don’t show up in the numbers 🫣🤭
@LockedonGuardians7 ай бұрын
Bibee has been the ace but Lively has been extremely good he has pitched like a 2/3 and I will take it
@siegewithme7 ай бұрын
@@LockedonGuardians Lively has been more consistent and efficient than Bibee has. There were some starts early on with Bibee that were pretty shaky. That’s not to say that over 162 Bibee won’t be the ace however currently I’m still taking Ben.
