You are doing such a wonderful exploration of Guatemala! One of my favorite countries!!! May I make a suggestion… don’t leave your room door open to the outdoors. Once, when I went to bed, I laid my head on the pillow, something moved. I thought it was my friends playing a joke. I looked and a baby possum nose peaked out under the pillow. The security guard who removed it said it happens, often.
Guatemala is super underrated. Visited in Jan of this year and it blew our minds. Glad yall are enjoying it.

I went to Guatemala for a month and stayed for 3- mostly at Lake Atitlan. I opted for the Rio Dulce/Livngston route instead of Semuc Champey. I'm glad to have seen it through your eyes. Flores is fun and I hope you can stay in a jungle lodge for your Tikal trip. I did for 2 nights to participated in a sunrise tour - totally worth it!

I love living through you guys vicariously, and that you travel to one beautiful natural area to another. That’s how I traveled. Guatemala is gorgeous for sure.

Nature breathtaking! The cave was quite adventurous for you,😊the waterfall inside was rapid, and balancing in darkened water with a gradually shrinking candle, that must have been a very strange experience! Chris and Carol, you have my admiration and thanks for allowing us to see these beautiful places with you 👍

Hiya Chris and Carol. That was a long day travelling but thankfully you had some stunning views. Great price for the accommodation. Lovely place. Gorgeous place to have breakfast. Stunning, so relaxing listening to the sound of the water. And both dishes looked delicious. Lovely hike, with spectacular views. The heights make my knees feel funny just viewing. LOL. A new place you have brought to my attention. Never heard of it before. Gorgeous. My feet are ticklish. I could not let the fish touch my feet. LOL. Good free pedicure though. Another wonderful experience. Aww. I love the locals. The little girl is so cute. Love the furbabies. Indian Jones, love it. The cave is amazing thank you for sharing. I could not do that. That was scary in parts. I am with you both thank god you did not do that water part. You did amazing to do what you did. Watching made me feel anxious. 20 minutes is a long time. The water and how powerful it is wonderful but scary. Raining days give you downtime, and a bit of relaxation. For sure. Great video. Thank you for sharing.

I just want to thank you guys for your channel. I am retired and unable to travel due to lack of $$ and health issues. I started following you when you visited the island of Vieques where I now live. Your travels are a great diversion for me and help me experience what I can't do any longer. I especially enjoyed your travels through Brasil. Over 50 years ago I spent 3 months in Sao Paulo and Rio as an exchange student. It brought back fond memories of my time there....the food, the music, and most importantly the people.

Wow!!! I am so impressed by this video!! It's making me want to go asap! How does this compare to Thailand for example? I know it's different but I'd be curious for you to again explain the best places you've been to. I'm also eager to see El Salvador. You have shared such beautiful places and it's a shame that the world doesn't know of these places....or maybe not a shame, that way they are preserved. I will begin to research trips from Los Angeles to Guatemala. Eager to see Tikal as well.

I agree, only jump if you see someone else do it first! Was it cold inside or pleasant temperature? You said the water was cold so that makes me think the cave would be even more chilly. It looks like a nice country, I think it has a bad reputation but I cannot tell why

Carol, did you feel safe there? 3. Did you guys use Ub3r to get out of Delhi Airport? And how was the experience with using Ub3r in Delhi? Cheers! 😊
