The sweet potato is diferent, I live in florida and América make like a desert is Orange the color and with sumar and masmallow The one you show is like yellow crear is in the natural fl@vor. And the rice is rice with green pigeon tradicional rice in PR. Like Cristmas. Enjoy

That’s for sure, I think they are technically yams that are more orange but people always say sweet potato. This is the real sweet potato which still is sweet but not crazy. Arroz con gandules!

Hey man, just wanted to ask a question. My wife and I are headed there in June! Is Guavate tourist friendly, I’m almost fluent in Spanish too. Did you feel safe every time you went? We just want to be aware and respect the areas to stay out of!

Yea they’re tourist friendly I think there’s a couple lil stands for souvenirs but there will be people speaking English or who can speak English. Food is great and the music sand locals are awesome

American who goes to PR and you didn't go to Guavate, and you didn't eat suckling pig from there, let me tell you that it's like not going to PR. because there you can eat the authentic roast suckling pig and rice with pigeon peas "Guavate"El Racho Original", you have to look for that place, if not, don't stop, until you get there💖
