I bought a fake and a realone (gucci ace with bee design ) it's hard to tell the difference from look and the main difference is the feel!!! if you wear the fake one, it hurts my feet, very tight, leather is so hard. the real one is soft leather like walking in the cloud, nice fit. They did feel different, these fake ones did definitely not have real snakeskin. Only issue there is that people looking to buy authentics from individuals online won't be able to touch it so the texture difference isn't too helpful although I suppose the difference is visible anyway.
