It’s soo funny, I bought the 2 same pieces about a month apart (different colors, same style). Both were my 1st pieces from each fashion house. The YSL one is super stiff, so I don’t use it as much but it is sooooo pretty to look at. The Gucci piece is much more user friendly but I’m terrified to ruin it. I’ve since bought 2 leather Gucci bags but surprisingly no YSL pieces yet. Their bags are so expensive. But I have a medium Matelasse flap bag denim color with silver hardware that I have my eye on from Saks. We will see though. Thanks for sharing.

Alicia Samuels I completely agree Alícia!! The Gucci card holder is amazing and so soft!!! The YSL card holder is a lot stiffer (but beautiful nonetheless 😄)!! I have been eyeing the Gucci bags for a while now and I had one in my cart before the price increase but sadly didn’t pull their trigger and I could kick myself for not buying it!! Rose LuvsLux I have the black marmont flap in the small size, it’s fits everything you could need on a regular day. It isn’t wearing as great as I thought it would. It’s currently still in great condition but I’m worried the top will start getting pointed if I pack it too much. I also have the camera style bag in the small size..that one is AMAZING. Fits everything I need and for some reason feel more durable and care free than the flap. I have it in the nude color which is the same as my card holder. The card holder is great, I can fit 6 cards and some cash or 8 cards and no cash. Paired with the round coin purse from LV they are a joy to use. Bummed that you didn’t get it before the increase, but if you love it...I say go for it. 😊

Alicia Samuels Thank you so much for that and I agree! I’m sure I’ll add one to my collection soon! The only concern I had was long term wear and tear. The ones I’ve seen don’t seem to hold their structure very well long term so, that was a bit concerning. Maybe I’ll try the preloved route so, it will not break my heart if it doesn’t hold up too well! Thanks again for the information sweetie!😘

I bought the YSL Lou camera bag in smooth leather as a gift. The ladies at my local YSL. Were so rude and horrible. You're better off going somewhere else. Somehow they ran out of shopping bags and boxes in Australia. Don't know how that's possible and it's been like that for a while now. How do you expect to give an item that is worth $1,400 and just give it to your customer with a Dustbag? Who's giving it as a gift. Such bad branding. I've never been to any other High-End Designer Store that hasn't got their stuff together. YSL is all over the place. LV and Chanel wouldn't let that happen. YSL isn't the greatest quality. I wish it was better. The Lou bag will be my first and last purchase from them. Customer service from LV, Chanel is much better. Chanel may be more expensive, but in my opinion. It will last much longer. I bought the cardholder originally, and my cousin even told me the quality isn't the greatest. I went home and saw it was faulty, decided to return it to get a refund. The girl made up stupid excuses how it's not faulty blah blah blah. It clearly was, as there's a crack in the corner. So had to exchange it for something else. As all the cardholders she brought out. Had the same issue.
