the gucci powder seems perfect for my Very dry skin it looks beautiful!!!! though way too expensive for me as a uni student,, will look into the kosas one instead. thank you for the thorough review and comparison of other powders!! good to know that the CT and Dior are probably too dry for me.

I’m sorry the range was limited for you. I understand that. On the flip side, I find so many powders and bases in my shade range (Native North American) lean heavily yellow-golden. Because Natives are so close in shade to Asian peoples, we get lumped in together. So I’m actually excited to hear these have some peach-pink options for me. Thank you for the review!

Yay! I'm so happy that you liked the Gucci powder. It's one of my most used too hehe I think I reach for it often solely cause of packaging 😂 I checked as soon as the video ended and, to me, the powder smells a bit stronger than the bronzer. Did you know they're both refillable? There's a pin at the bottom of the pan so it'll def save some money in the future......if we ever hit pan 😂 The lipstick is to die fooor 😭Its making your lips look extra plush and I need......maybe 10 of them 😂

The Gucci powder looks so seamless! I wonder how it compares to the Dior Backstage No Powder. I currently use the RCMA No Color in both loose and pressed forms and am getting the CT, I hope to get along with it well with my normal/combo skin!

I love RCMA loose powder! Itz so good under the eyes. What is the compact like? Is it similar to the loose powder? I don't have the dior backstage powder so can't compare

@@RashiRamalho okay so I got excited and just tried them side by side to compare lol, I would say the finish is the pretty much the exact same, the only slight difference I can detect is that the compact version is a tiny bit less mattifying, maybe it's because with it being compact it's easier to pick up less powder, and it also doesn't kick up much. I love the packaging it comes in, it's a great quality component! I use both on clients as well and they never fail me :D

Oh wow thank you for letting me know!! That's amazing🥰 RCMA is such a versatile powder. Affordable and great quality! With the CT I don't like it under the eyes, I find that the finish can look a bit drying but for combo skin I love it for the cheeks and forehead. Itz good for texture and enlarged pores😘

I’m really struggling with powders! I’m oily and feel as though I have to set my whole face. I try to layer in very light layers to avoid looking lighter but my foundation always lightens. I’m currently using the Nokia Joy setting powder which I like more than my Laura Mercier (which I’ve used for years) after setting should I go in with a finishing powder? One that matches my skin tone perfectly? Edit to say I own the CT powder in medium. I only use it under the eyes. I don’t feel like it does anything for me on my face

I've heard some people use a powder foundation in their shade match to set their face after liquid foundation. Maybe try something like that? I've also been hearing good things about too faced peach loose setting powder for oily skintones. Perhaps check out some reviews on that one?

Dear love your videos!I have such a wired situation I have very dry textured skin in winter and less dry in summer.36 years old!Live in a hot humid area!But I look shiny to people !They always commented that u got so oily skin!I almost always used matte drugstore powders!They really shows on my skin!When I apply them they sometimes cling to my dry patches!Now I want to buy a highend powder but got very confused!Which one should I buy?Love the glowy finish that hourglass powders give !But will it make me look so oily?or I should go for the charlot tilbery?I am using dior airflash foundation now a days!Can u pls help me about choosing a good powder for me?Thank u!

Hourglass powders are great for dry skin but if you are concerned about looking oily, they won't help with that. I think you're best bet is Charlotte tilbury. Itz good on texture while also helps to control some oil which is good in humid environments

My fave bronzer is Ilia Novelty. I don't often use contour but I like the one from ND powder contour in shade warm. There is also huda tantour which is a good mix between a contour and a bronzer

The reason i apply powder is to blur the skin and set whatever liquids and creams i put on. A powder that mattifies and have light reflecting properties from mica usually helps to blur the skin.. to smooth out pores and give a seamless smooth look. I get the point of powders not looking like powder, but does it blur the skin? I'm confused. I would rather not wear powder at all then 🤷🏻‍♀️

Gucci is blurring but not really mattifying. Also as I get oily easily, Gucci powder tends to dissappear on me quickly. Whereas a more mattfying powder would keep me matte for longer. I think this is great for dry skins that want a blurring powder that isn't going to look dry on the skin. Dry skins also don't have to worry about getting shiny throughout the day so Gucci is perfect for that. Hope that clarifies?

CT is great for combo skin so you can definitely stick to that. I've hit pan on my CT!

If you have very large pores, get CT. If you don't have large pores, I think Kosas would be great.
