Glad you like the bag! I've got it in brown, and it's the perfect everyday bag. You can absolutely wear it crossbody btw. There are two button closures in the very middle/at the top of the straps, and when you snap the straps there the bottom two button pieces will be left exposed. If you purchase the bag, it will come with extra button bits so that you can cover them, if that's the look you prefer.
