Hi. This bag is a cloth canvas material. I use apple guarde to protect all of my cloth bags and untreated leather. I have never had any issues with it. I just bought this bag and heard you sprayed it with apple guard. Did you spray entire purse or just the strap? I was told the canvas will stain and if wearing dark clothing will rub off on bag so want to protect it! Thanks!

Hello. My apologies for the late response. I do feel this material is not as durable as the canvas. I find myself having to be extra careful so I don’t snag it. zero issues with it so I do think it holds up well.
