I completely agree about the YSL lou lou I thought about adding that bag a dozen times but I know it wouldn’t be for my everyday lifestyle and I’ve had dressy bags that I’ve never used so I just won’t pull the trigger again on a dressy bag but then I try to never say never great comparison thanks for sharing !

It is a great great bag but sadly I just don't reach for it much, I just look at it and sighhhh haha I think I will use it more this holiday season, since we tend to go out more and it is just a gorgeous bag. Great comparison:) I bought the same YSL bag but in gold hardware because I wanted a big enough bag to go from day to night and I love it! The compartments keep me organized and at 5”2 I can even wear it crossbody if I want to be hands free. I have the GucciMarmont in the small red and nude colours and love them for nights out or crossbody during the day. Your large is just perfect for daily use and definitely please do a Reissue review :)

Ohh gosh that’s a difficult choice!!!! I have to say I love them both pretty much equally so I just cant choose but YES I would definitely take the Gucci bag to a wedding!!! I’m a fairy dance to the beat of my own drum kind of person so I would have no problem taking it to a wedding even though it’s a larger bag. I really tried to think this through when I read your question and I just could not make a choice I love them both! I hope this helps you!!!!

It's funny you asked me that question, because I was thinking about doing a video on that bag about all the pros and cons. I personally don't use my reissue nearly as much as I thought I would. I do use it more for going out but not as a every day bag because I just can't put all the things I normally carry in that bag and mine is the 227! I first purchased the 226 (which is the most popular) but I was not happy with it so I exchanged for the 227. I love the bag, but not for everyday use. The large Gucci is bigger it’s 10” h verses YSL 8.5 and Gucci is 13.5” wide verses YSL 12” wide I hope that helps!

Since you have the Gucci Large Marmont, is the medium Marmont too small to your liking? Coz I thought I want to get the YSL LOULOU in medium. Please give me ur honest opinion ya.

Yes, of course! Ok, so I first ordered the Gucci Marmont in the medium and I loved it. The size is actually the perfect size and it is very versatile. You can wear it with one chain, or both chains on the shoulder and also the perfect cross body size. I ordered it online and for some reason I got confused and even tho I loved it right away, I thought maybe I would like the large Marmont better because in the past I have always carried larger bags. So I returned the medium and exchanged it for the large but once the large came, I regretted the exchange. I even did a video of my story and how important it is to try them on in the store so you don't make a mistake like I did. BUT, I do love the large Marmont, it is too large to be worn cross body but it is a great bag an holds alot. IF you like big bags you will love it but if you like more medium bags and more versatility, I suggest the Medium Marmont. It is the most popular size. I hope all this is making sense for you. I love them both but the medium is the most popular for a reason and I think it is because of how versatile and it holds quite a bit too. If I ever get another Marmont bag, I would choose the medium. With that being said, I do adore my large Marmont. Great video and analysis. Love both bags. I bought the Gucci in the large and thought it was too big for me so I exchanged it for the small. But now I'm rethinking that. 😝 Thinking about getting the large Gucci in the Poudre color. I also have my eye on the large Lou Lou in the dark red. That color is divine!

The ysl loulou is sooo cutee but not really practical, soooo heavy (event empty) ans too bulky Its a shame. The compartments make it not soo roomy. So really beautiful piece but not practical At All. So im for the gg now, very much versatile

The Lou Lou is wider but not quite as large as the large Marmont. I would say they hold a equal amount of items with the Large Marmont being able to hold just a few extra items like my small umbrella which did not fit in my Lou Lou. TFW! YotaStyle
