As a lover of LV bags and SLG’s, I do not own any Gucci, but I like the Gucci tote better. I love the handle options and the widths of the handles. I always liked the Gucci monogram as well. Both of your luxury totes are simply beautiful and the custom monogram on the Neverfull makes it look elevated. 💙 Enjoyed the comparisons. 🥰

Maybe you realize this by now but based on your measurements of the Gucci that is the size SMALL. There is a MINI size that’s only 8 inches long and it does come with a detachable pouch. Never the less both your bags are beautiful 😍

Great comparison. I think they are both great bags. The LV was around $200 cheaper than the MM but it’s not available any more. I like this Gucci more than the traditional Ophidia tote just because the longer straps are great for a heavy winter coat.

The LV Neverfull came out in 2007 and added the pouch in 2013. Perhaps, the handle drop is not as long to be more in line with the bag size? I rarely purchase any of my bags below an MM size. In regards to Gucci, I have always preferred the regimental canvas tape because it harkens to that Gucci equestrian aesthetic history. I am also not a fan of the more modern ‘Marmont’ GG logo. That said, I purchased my first Gucci Ophidia medium Camera Bag as a freshman in college in fall 1985 at the Macy’s Herald Square location…it was $150! They used to use beautiful Cinghiale or boar skin on the trim which is much more durable than the calf they currently use. Unfortunately, I gave it to my youngest sister and wish I had kept it. My luxury journey didn’t start until about 3 years ago after my sons were pretty much working and fending for themselves when it came to recreation and clothing. Nice video 😊! I've always been wondering why LV made the Neverfull PM with such short straps. In my opinion, why would I like to carry it just in the hand?! Sometimes, the MM is too big for what I need, and the PM would be lovely to use instead, but only as a shoulder bag. I feel it also more protected on my shoulder. It is such a pity...

I’ve never been a neverfull girl, nothing wrong with them, it’s just not my preference. I do like the Gucci tote better because of the two strap lengths. Also I like the darker leather over vachetta. The pouch would definitely be a plus though.
