I ALWAYS look for videos on “what fits in the bag” and it’s so hard to find, I don’t know why. That’s such a useful part of a review. Thank you for showing this. I am interested in the mini camera bag. I carry quite a bit of stuff, but I’m here calculating what I don’t carry that you do, and how I can dispose of the space. For instance, I carry a small mouth spray instead of mints (it’s smaller). I carry a Travalo where I deposit my perfume (so tiny!). No coin purse (I kinda even wonder why you need one lol). My card case is super thin, not a double flap, or I place them in the inner pocket if there’s one. I carry an ID card (same size as a DL), not a passport. My sunglasses are on my head or hanging off my top’s cleavage (I don’t want them getting scratches). I don’t carry hand lotion. I carry 2 tiny clear cosmetics bags (to avoid makeup staining the lining of my bag) with lip balm, lipstick, my travalo, foundation stick, eyeliner and compact powder. The other one has headphones, wall plug and charging cable for my phone. A card holder, power bank, my phone and a Kleenex to go pack. Cash (bills) goes in my purse’s pocket. So I think I could fit fine in that mini Marmont camera bag ☺️ Again, thanks for the comparison. So helpful!

Honestly so so useful. That's why I love your videos. On my list of purchase the next 18 months a mulberry medium lily, Chanel jumbo and Gucci soho disco. I have a baby so for me a bag must fit at least 3 nappies. Yea, no nappy bags here, spent too much money on bags to use baby bags. Def heading for a soho disco then. In case you are wondering in Gucci Dionysus I can fit my phone, sunglasses, tiny make up pouch, 4 pampers, small pack of wipes, a baby bottle, baby nappy cream 20ml A small toy and my cards...I feel like I can get more in disco and I love love the bag. It's so funny how bags fall differently on different heights/body types. You are petite/thin, so even with the strap on the shortest for the Gucci Soho Disco, it falls at/below your waist. I'm 5'10 (70 inches or 177 cm) and plus size and with the strap on the longest setting, it comes right below my boobs when crossbody. I can only wear it on my shoulder.

JUST FYI! I got the mini bag in the black and white chevron. I am 5 foot and feel the length is fine. However when I enquired at my local Gucci store - they did give me the option of having a technician remove a few of those gold links to make the strap a little shorter! 🙂

If anyone is looking for a more compact solution for carrying sunglasses for smaller bags I can highly recommend the Ray Ban folding wayfarers. They're incredible sturdy (and stylish) and fold up so small that they're great for smaller bags!

I absolutely love my soho disco, it is the most useful bag ever! I really don't think the new one holds a candle to it... Although it is very cute, I just don't think it will have the same longevity and classic look that the Soho Disco has had.

JeMaRi I watched this so many times too and decided to go with the Marmont but in small instead of mini. My friend owns a Soho so I got to see it in real life. I feel that the Soho is way too casual. I don’t own many brand name bags so the Marmont is the perfect happy medium. I can wear it casually or for a night out.

Been binge watching your channel and I love your videos. Recent find for your viewers in the US. You sold me on the Gucci camera bag and I went in Saks to decide between the Soho Disco or the Marmont and fell in love with the Marmont small size (bit bigger than the mini). Scoured online and in store and for those interested -- if you purchase on the Selfridges website it is about $60 cheaper even with the tax and shipping fee. Saks sells for $1200 (before tax) and you can get it on Selfridges for $1140 (after tax and shipping). I'm sure a similar price difference applies to the mini as well. Good time to take advantage of the exchange rates for us US folks :)

I bought a black soho on a whim and while I love it, I feel it’s a bit plain and I have heaps of black bags so feel the bling would’ve made it more formal and useful to dress up as a nice evening bag. I probably should’ve at least bought it in the nude colour as I don’t have many light coloured bags. Now I’m considering buying either a nude Soho or Marmont! I do love the size of the soho as it fits the perfect amount and most of the time I love the minimalistic look. One thing that really bothers me (and I’m probably just weird about it) is that I find, because the straps are quite thin and the bag is quite boxy and heavy when full, that the bag tends to flip over and stay overturned. Do you find that happens to yours too? And does that kind of thing happen with the marmont? Also a big hello from Melbourne, Australia :) Just found your videos and love them!! Xx
